Lai sat down meekly on the very clean sofa and glanced at the kitchen. The pair of new brothers were talking and chatting with bright smiles on their faces. Seeing Joo Haolei smiling like that Lai got shivers down his spine. 'Who is he? Did he get possessed too? he cleans? He cooks and he smiles like that? Fucking hell. Is there something wrong with him or something wrong with the people around me….' He scratched his head in confusion.
Haolei came out of the kitchen and gently tapped his forehead. "You look ugly with those wrinkles."
"Yah!" Lai hit his shoulders.
Scoffing Haolei sat opposite him. "so, tell me what happened with your girlfriend? She tossed you out on the curb. If you want a place to stay you can gladly stay with us. But you might have to sleep on the ground. You see the sofa is being occupied." Haolei raised a brow condescendingly at him.
