The next morning Aaron woke up to a subtle sound of sheets rustling beside him. he opened his tired eyes with a sigh. "Do you want me to kick you out? Stop rolling around," he grunted.
To his surprise, Altren was sitting right up with a stiff back. He was looking straight ahead with a weird look on his face.
He instantly knew something was wrong. Aaron's consciousness cleared up. he pulled the sheet down and glanced at his nephew. "What is it? are you feeling okay?"
Altren did not reply. In fact, he did not even give him any attention. He felt weirdly like a robot that was being controlled by someone.
He reached out and pinched his arm slightly.
If it were the usual situation Altren would have cried and whined but now he simply just gave him a blank look.
"Looks like you fell for someone's trap buddy," he mumbled grimly.
Altren stood up and started to walk to the door.
He hurried after him and grabbed his hand.
