Moses's head began to spin. He didn't know what to do again. "No, the person who did this must still be in my compound"he thought within himself. Wait a minute, could it be Detective Rod? No no but he have to confirm. He took a photograph of the pasted message on his room door as well as dialled his assistant gateman's phone number.
"Aboki, is Detective Rod still here" he asked as he ran outside.
"Aah, na that local policeman? my guy don leave this place since" he replied in pidgin English.
" By which time he come commot?" Moses asked in the same pidgin English.
"Make I check sir" he said as he ran to the table. He checked the attendance register.
"My guy come here around ten in the morning, come commot around ten thirty" he replied. Moses checked his wristwatch. It was ten minutes after two. How did time fly that fast?

"Yes sir, na Elba, he be your accountant"

" No sir" he replied. Moses cut the call as he opened the door to the sitting room. He met Elba with some of his board if directors. It was a business meeting. In his home.
"Ooh Moses" Elba said as he opened his hands to hug him. Moses returned the gesture as he hugged Elba . And as he did, he found a sticky substance at the edge of his suit. It looked more like gum.
"You're here" Matthew said announcing his presence as he walked elegantly into the sitting room.
"I didn't expect you to show up" Moses said as he shook hands with Elba.
" Me too, I expected you to be out there on the hunt with Detective Rod" he replied.
" Yeah, me too, since the kidnapping of your wife two days ago, you've not been yourself" Elba replied.
" Alright alright, please change the topic before I lose my nerves" Moses said as he clenched his fists.
