After a ton of heated questions from the Orphanage kids, Harry was able to lock himself in his room and take out his phone to check the time. The little assholes kept him in the kitchen for two whole hours. The green-eyed teenager could not keep the smile from his face, the new children were innocent and did not deserve his irritation. He sighed, walked over to his desk, threw the bag at it, and fell on the bed, completely tired.
A week later, a letter from UA was brought to the mailbox, which was immediately opened in front of fifty children and ten workers. They were greeted by the cheerful face of All Might, who congratulated Harry on reaching first place - which shocked absolutely everyone - with 70 villain points and 21 hero points for saving people. That evening there was a celebration throughout the Orphanage.
School came along with the warm days of spring, Harry dressed in his new gray uniform - which fit him perfectly, thanks Envy - and got ready for the first day of school. Azumi hugged him with tears of happiness in her eyes.
"I always believed that you have a great future, Harry." at that moment he remembered Jasmine's arms and smiled softly at the woman.
"Thank you so much Miss Sato. See ya, rascals!"
He waved his hand towards the children who were sitting at the windows.
---
Thirty minutes later, Harry stood outside the UA gate, not as a visitor, but as a full-fledged student. The huge building looked more like an office than a school, but Harry wasn't an architect, so he didn't care. Nothing could ever compare to the beauty of Hogwarts anyway. But the labyrinth inside...
Harry had no qualms about using Pride to find the right classroom, he was already on a rather tight schedule. So, he was not surprised when he saw all his new classmates in their places. The strangest thing in the whole situation was the presence of a human Caterpillar... Oh, no, it's just a man in a sleeping bag. Harry looked at him for a moment.
"...Do you need help getting up?"
The teenager asked uncertainly and attracted the attention of the whole class. The man with huge bags under his eyes looked at Harry like dirt and stood up himself.
"It took you 8 seconds to notice my presence, I think it would be even more if your classmate wasn't late. You are not the most rational people, are you? Well, I'll fix that, grab your gym uniforms in the locker room and head to the stadium."
"I'm sorry, but who are you?"
The guy with the glasses asked.
"I am your homeroom teacher, Shota Aizawa, nice to meet you."
He said with a small grin. Harry thought he reminded him a bit of... good Snape? He shivered at the very thought. After a couple of minutes, everyone was dressed in sports uniforms and stood in the stadium, waiting for the next words of the teacher.
"We're going to have a Quirk test right now."
"A test of our Quirks?! But what about the orientation, or-" Aizawa did not listen to the girl and continued to speak.
"No time to waste if you want to be heroes. UA is known for its open-minded learning style, and this applies to us teachers as well."
The class looked at each other nervously and Harry made more and more connections with Snape. Well, at least he still hasn't called anyone a dunderhead... yet...
"Softball trowing, the standing long jump, the 50-meter dash, endurance running, grip strength, side-to-side stepping, upper body training, seated toe touch. You did this all in middle school, right? Your standard exercises without quirks."
Harry watched Aizawa set up some device and scanned the softball.
"This country still insists on not using quirks when calculating these results. This is not rational. The Department of Education just doesn't want to mess with paperwork." the last part he muttered under his breath.
"Bakugo. How far did you throw in high school?"
Aizawa asked the blonde with an explosive hairstyle, he instantly perked up.
"67 meters."
"Great, now throw the ball using your Quirk. Do what you need to do, just don't leave the circle. Give it all you got."
Bakugo stretched his right shoulder and entered the circle, grabbing the ball from Aizawa. A grin appeared on his face and an explosion rang out with a clear cry "DIE".
'Well, we have a dynamite-boy' Harry thought to himself.
"It is important to know your limits." the teacher showed the device with 705.2 meters on it "This is the first rational step to understand what kind of hero you will be."
The class immediately seethed with emotions.
"Wow! This is cool!"
"705 meters? Seriously?"
"...die?"
"This is how we can use our Quirks for real! Damn, the Hero course is the coolest!"
Harry suddenly felt a chill from Aizawa's side. "Oh shit, they woke up his Snape mode." The teenagers around him didn't even notice the change in the teacher's face.
"...cool you say? Do you hope to become heroes after three years... and that it all will be just fun and games?"
Their teacher's hair fell in front of his face, giving him a menacing look.
"Right. Whoever gets the lowest score will be deemed hopeless... and will be expelled."
"What?!" Harry closed his eyes and silently cursed the red-haired idiot who couldn't just keep quiet.
"Your destiny is in your hands." Aizawa brushed his hair off his face and everyone saw his smug smile "Welcome to the course of Heroes in UA high!"
"The lowest score will be expelled?! But this is not fair! This is only our first day..."
Aizawa raised an eyebrow towards the rosy-cheeked girl.
"Natural disasters, traffic accidents, insane villains. Catastrophes are always around the corner. I'd say Japan is full of unfair things. Heroes are the ones who correct these injustices."
Harry remembered his life before coming to this world and could not help but agree.
"If you are hoping to spend the next three years in restaurants, I'll have to disappoint you. During your training, UA will grind you through the meat grinder. This is Plus Ultra. Use your powers to overcome this. The demonstration is over, let's start."
Harry watched his classmates run the 50-meter dash. He did not notice any completely insane quirks, except perhaps the guy who shot the laser from his belly... Harry was paired with Hanta Sero. As soon as the shot sounded, shadows burst from the teenager's clothes and threw him towards the finish line.
"4,3 seconds, I could be faster..." muttered Harry under his breath and looked at his hands. "...more shadows next time."
Harry used Pride and Envy to cover his body and reshape his muscles, so in most tests he came closer to the first place. Except for the tests where the midget jumped from his hair and the infinity throw of Uraraka... Here they defeated everyone.
The teenager watched with interest as Aizawa erased Midoriya's Quirk and pondered. His Quirk works from the Philosopher's Stone, will Aizawa be able to erase it?
"And I lied that I was going to expel people." Aizawa's voice was heard "It was rational deception to get you to work one hundred percent. Nice, right?"
"WHAAAAA?!"
Harry reduced the sensitivity of his eardrums. If in the Hero course It's always so loud, he will be walking deafened forever. Or he'll just have to stand away from Midoriya.
The teenager looked at the hologram, he was in 3rd place, right after Shoto Todoroki - this surname seemed familiar to Harry - he took a chance and remembered the names of his classmates, now all that remains is to combine names with faces.
---
Few people talked with their classmates, everyone was a little shocked by what happened at the stadium. Harry didn't mind and just walked towards the train station, leaving the school behind. But today he did not go to the Orphanage. The teenager drove to get into the depths of the nearest forest.
Even after so long, Harry could not get rid of the habit of training in the forest now and then. The teenager threw his bag at the familiar overgrown root and went out into the clearing. Trees and ground around the site were damaged, claw marks, bumps and just shoe marks were clearly visible everywhere.
Harry took a deep breath and concentrated. Right now, he was trying to evoke the same feeling he had during the 0-pointer fight, then his Quirk was much stronger than usual. He looked at his palms and they slowly opened two identical wounds from which no blood was flowing. The shadows seemed to have become his flesh under the skin.
He extended his right hand forward and a shadow spear burst out of his body, piercing through the tree closest to him. Harry returned the shadows to his body and brought his hands together. His skin was covered with shadows and formed a black suit. The teenager pulled out a small shadow with an eye to look at himself from the side and saw only a dark silhouette.
"This character is not playable." he chuckled.
This was not what he was trying to do, but it was progress. Harry usually had a headache when using these shadows, as the shadows hid small eyes, allowing him to see much more than usual. Controlling shadows, perceiving information and maintaining shape at the same time was... tiring.
Harry pulled the shadow back into his body and the wounds on his hands closed, this time there were small scars on his palms, which greatly surprised the teenager. Usually Envy heals his scars in a second, what has changed now? He focused and the scars on his palms smoothed out without a trace.
"What the fuck...?" for the first time in a long time, Harry decided to do something unusual. He sat down in the lotus position, put his hands on his lap and began to sink deep into his consciousness. The green-eyed teenager noticed a small feature in himself long time ago, he couldn't use the Magic of Wizards anymore, but he could always try. And sometimes with the proper zeal, it brought results.
Harry slowly penetrated into the depths of his mind and soul and began to look around. Before him was only endless darkness and two fist-sized blood-red stones. The first was perfectly smooth, round and seemed to take all the light around it into itself. The second one was wilder and hovered around the first stone like the Moon around the Earth.
The last Potter looked at the smooth stone - which was most likely the source of Pride - and reached out to touch it. But as soon as Harry felt the coldness of the stone on his fingers, it glowed brightly and the teenager was thrown out of his own consciousness.
A cold drop of sweat ran down his forehead, and his head ached like he used Pride to stuff lava into his brain. Harry fell exhausted on his back and gazed at the starry sky with wide eyes. Well, something is definitely happening inside his soul. After an hour of rest, Harry was able to return to the Orphanage. That night he slept like a log.
