Rosena slammed her fist on the table and left the cabin and locked herself in her laboratory. Her head was in mess, her life was directed by her father without her knowing that she was being played like a puppet and she was until now happy, but how can she be happy now, that she was PLAYED, her damn ego and pride was hurt, the achievement she was proud of, was now disgusted by it.
Aurora let her calm down, and went to look for Zara, who was waiting anxiously by the entrance,
"How is the Miss?" she asked worriedly.
"She is angry and, in the laboratory, she will calm down, hopefully soon" Aurora sighed as she exited the shop.
Aurora was about to exit the shop when the entrance to the cupboard opened revealing Rosena whose eyes were swollen due to crying.
"Wait, let me talk" Rosena said hurriedly as she bumped her head on the top of the counter.
Zara helped her out from the small cupboard and Aurora flinched at the sound of her head hitting the top.
"I am waiting" she said to help her calm her damn nerves.
Rosena relaxed and took her time to sit on the coffee table and gestured to Aurora sit.
Aurora followed her command and raised her eyebrow to know what this lady was up to, she was curious.
"My father will call you to know my reaction, right?" she asked hesitantly.
"Yes, but how did you know?" Aurora asked astonished.
Rosena smirked and waved at Zara to bring her a juice.
Zara placed the orange juice on the table, and waited at the side to hear her response.
"Aunt Zara is also appointed by my father to take care of me?" Rosena hissed.
"Yes" Zara replied her head hung low, as she waited for the young lady's reaction.
Rosena smiled hiding her emotions, but her clenched fist and tightened jaw gave her away.
Aurora sipped the orange juice which was bought by Zara for her, she saw Rosena's reaction which she tried to hide.
Rosena too sipped her juice and exhaled.
"Everything since years was how I liked and I guessed you might have reported every single thing about me to my father, and you never told me about this and you suddenly mention about the encounter which should have been the biggest secret of my father, so, I thought it might be my father's order to tell and he might be waiting for you to report" Rosena explained her eyes admiring the water droplets on the window.
The drops of rain water fell on the huge glass of the shop, they race to reach the end of the glass, on the way they merge with other droplets or the water in them leaves and they disappear.
She had just recently found out that Aurora was adopted by my father, she wanted to ask many questions to her but the latter had ignored the questions and changed the topic. Rosena didn't want to pry in her private life so, she had played along with her, and now she suddenly spills the beans on her own accord, made her think that it was all because of her father, so, she rushed out of the lab.
And as expected, Aurora's phone rang,
Rosena grabbed the phone from Aurora's hand.
"Harold Dalton, I want to meet you now" she roared as she threw the phone on Aurora after ordering.
Zara- "..."
Aurora- "..."
The man on the line- "..."
"Spencer" Aurora said narrowing her eyes at Rosena who smirked.
Rosena widened her eyes as she heard Aurora.
That was not her father.
Rosena's smirk faded and turned into an embarrassing smile, as she hit her forehead. How embarrassing she didn't even look at the caller id.
She hid her face with her hands as she rested her head on the table. She wanted to dig a hole, and bury herself alive.
Aurora talked with the guy called Spencer for a minute.
"He will call after some time and I will let you talk to him, just don't grab my phone next time" Aurora warned as she glared at Rosena who was more embarrassed, she cursed Aurora in her head.
Aurora sipped her juice as she scrolled and read news about Rosena's scandals over the internet.
"What about the scandals, which you spread so you could grab your father's attention? By the way, he already knew about your motives behind those scandals" Aurora asked.
"Delete them all, and reveal a huge scandal of someone so mine is forgotten by the civilians" Rosena grumbled glaring menacingly at Aurora for bringing up a sour topic.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, she felt so dumb at the moment.
Life is a series of embarrassing moments which leave you feeling alone in your confusion and shame.
Rosena repeats the quotes in her mind to calm herself.
