At the Royal Palace...
Inside an office at the crown prince's castle, a 28-year old human is screaming and throwing things in front of his shaking and bowing subordinates.
"Four years! Four years!" The man is only wearing his tunic and his loose pants.
He heard the terrifying news while he was being dressed.
Due to his anger and frustration, he could not finish dressing and began to randomly beat his servants, then throw things toward his subordinates who brought the news to him.
"Did I fucking waste my fucking four years building that damn village just to be destroyed by a dragon?" He brushed his short, bright blonde hair with his fingers, then covered his face with his hand. The man's posture is as if he was crying while he lifted his head up while still covered with his hands.
"My time, my money, even those people are hard to gather again, even if I am the crown prince." The prince is frustrated over the fact that he needs to start all over again.
hahhaHAHAHAHHAHAHa
The servants and their subordinates watched their lord slowly laugh loudly while still covering his face, which seemed to be crying. They are trembling while this is happening; they are scared for their own lives, which may end if the crown prince continues his emotional breakdown. "I am so near to completion!"
"Please your highness, please calm down," said his assistant while trying to calm the crown prince. In return, he was slapped and was about to be smashed by a bottle that the prince grabbed randomly. The hand of the prince paused in the air and the bottle fell down.
"What the! Who the hell are you!" the prince shouted while his arms were still in the air. "Guards!"
A group of knights enters the crown prince's room and cannot do anything because they cannot see the enemy.
"It's me your highness" The Tamahaling tribe member removes her invincibility and swings the prince's body like a toy.
"UGH! ha? A survivor!" The crown prince's eyes sparkled and he tried to approach the red-skinned earth spirit, but his knights stopped him, then turned to attack the intruder.
"Stop!" the knights instantly halted.
"She is a survivor!" He warned his knights and looked at the Tamahaling tribe member with a concerned look. "I was frustrated. That is why I acted like a brute. I... I am very sorry! I cannot protect your village; I built the village so that any other race could have a place in this world populated by humans."
The ragged prince, who is not dressed properly, looks like a beggar because he was thrown around by the red-skinned. However, his white tunic, his golden hair, and his beautiful face made him look like an angel with a very distressed look that made the red-skinned step back and start to doubt his judgment.
She actually never met the crown prince in person but only received orders through letters or from the village chief.
[Huh? He what? Does he not know what is happening inside the village?] Her mind became chaotic. She is having second thoughts because she does not want to kill innocent beings.
She was angry and frustrated with the crown prince because she thought that he was the mastermind behind building the hellish village.
Originally, McTan village was a simple, peaceful place to live, but not until the people under the crown prince started to lodge other races four years ago.
One of the races that were welcomed to live there was the Tamahaling. At first, their stay in the village is nice and peaceful, when suddenly the humans start killing each other.
The original human villagers were massacred and used as test subjects. The village chiefs and officials were changed into cruel subordinates of the crown prince. They were about to leave the village when the vicious humans offered them the molten liquid that they thought was a natural mineral.
They were hounded and forced to live as slaves. They were forced to kill and do dirty jobs. The other captured races at the village received the same fate. They all hated the crown prince for stealing their freedom away.
"D—don't mess with me! You murderer! " She shouted in confusion.
Her eyes grew wider when the crown prince suddenly kneeled down in front of her.
"Yes, yes, it was my negligence that they were killed by the dragon. I deserve to die!" The crown prince stated this with tears in his eyes.
"The dragon is not entirely at fault! Your experiments killed everyone!" she shouted outrageously.
"Experiments?" The crown prince acted stunned and looked at his subordinates, "What is Madam talking about!?" he shouted as if he did not know.
His assistant responded, "Your majesty, we don't know. We need to investigate what the madam is saying."
Her eyes were shaking due to confusion. "Wait? You don't know? wha—wait?"
[Does this mean the chief did all this?] She thought to herself, figuring out what really happened [did the village chief use his highness's name?]
"Madam Tamahaling, please let me know what happened? Has someone messed up with my people?" The crown prince stood up and looked at her with a strong gaze. "I will make sure they will be punished!"
The confused Tamahaling tribe member clenched her fist. She opened and closed her mouth without saying anything.
The room became silent, and the people around us didn't dare make a move.
"You're telling me, y—you're innocent?" The crown prince reached for his clenched fist and gently clasped it. "I don't know what hardship your tribe experienced, but I will make sure to protect you this time."
The red skinned earth tribe member looked at the angelic looking crown prince straight into his teary eyes.
"y—your majesty"
...
"Second prince! You're not allowed to do this even if you're a royal bloodline!
Count Cleo shouted loudly while his saliva was showering towards the knights guarding the second prince, who was standing firm while looking at his soldiers and knights who had come to arrest the Count and search his whole castle.
"We have my father's authorization to arrest you, so surrender peacefully." He walked out and looked around the castle.
He may look confident and firm while looking around, but in reality, his heart beats really fast. He is nervous about the possibility that the child might trick him.
"Did you find anything?" he asked his assistant, who had just returned from his task of organizing the search.
"Not yet, sir. We already searched for the common areas but nothing out of the ordinary. We are now looking for secret rooms or passages."
The second prince felt his nervousness was suffocating him, so he walked by the window to get a fresh breath of air.
"What is that?" he asked, narrowing his eyes and focusing his gaze towards the black dot that he saw in the clear sky.
"What is it, your highness?" His assistant tried to look at what the prince was looking at. "Wha— DRAGON!" The assistant stepped back and stumbled on his own.
Everyone who turns their sight towards the flying dragon looks terrified and trembles. However, the second prince just looked straight at the dragon and opened the window.
"Your highness! It is dangerous! Hurry! Activate the teleportation circle!" the assistant commanded the mage within their group.
"No need," he said, while jumping off the window.
"No! your highness!" The assistant turned pale while his knights and mages ran after him.
Boom boom boom boom boom boom
His heartbeat is beating wildly. [Did I go crazy? [Should I believe what the child said?]
The second prince is doubting himself but still proceeds to meet the dragon.
She jumped up to the highest tower of Count Cleo's castle and met the dragon there. while his knights and subordinates are too cautious to approach them.
"With this distance, they won't hear our conversation," he commented in front of the large dragon.
"Oh! a brave human?" Fetahaya is amazed by the sudden approach of a brave child.
"Greetings, great Sir Dragon." He placed his hand on his heart and bowed his head before he introduced himself. "I am Felip Jhon Nidea, the second prince of this kingdom, the Magic Dominant Kingdom of Sibol." He gracefully finished his introduction and managed not to show his shaking eyes and nervousness.
The dragon tried to instill more fear in the child to test his bravery. Fetahaya activated his aura higher. The people around them started to choke from fear, but the brave second prince stood firm, clenching his hands and having cold sweats.
The stifling aura of the dragon disappeared after she chuckled softly. "Wow, this generation has a lot of weird children!" she commented without looking away from the brave second prince.
He swallowed his own saliva before gathering the strength to speak. "May I know why a great being like Sir Dragon is here at the criminals' castle?"
"Criminal?"
"Yes sir, we are currently arresting the count due to his crime of facilitating an illegal research facility." The second prince consistently speaks to the dragon with respect.
"Oh! Finally a royal who is really doing his job!" Fetahaya suddenly feels proud of the human she is conversing with. The dragon thought that the usual royal family that leads the kingdom was selfish and idiotic.
The dragon snapped her finger and created a fog that surrounded the whole count's castle. His knights and his subordinates started to fall down.
"S-sir Dragon! This is-" Felip panics and tries to get away from the fog.
"Don't panic kid, I just cast a fog with a sleeping spell, and I need to erase my appearance here to your people." The fog that blocks the sight of Prince Felip moves away from him and he can see the Dragon smiling at him. "I just need to alter their memory. They will eventually wake up later." The dragon again snapped her finger, transforming him into a beautiful teenager wearing old-fashioned maid's clothing.
"I thought you were a male, sir- I mean, madam!"
The Dragon Fetahaya scoffed, "haha you said the same thing with that kid? The two of them are quite similar. "
The prince tilted his head and continued to look at the fog. "Mam, you are not going to kill us, right?"
"Why do you want to die?" Prince Felip shook his head frantically.
"Then grant me your front seat?"
Prince Felip flinched and thought about what the Marquis's son had said to him, "The child didn't trick me!"
Looking more relieved, the prince nodded his head without any question.
"Huh? Do you agree?" Fetahaya is suspicious of the prince's fast agreement. "You're not going to ask me what was that?"
"I believe that what the Dragon asks should be complied with. I don't know what 'front seat' is, but I will make sure to satisfy you with what my power and strength can do"
Fetahaya chuckled once more. "I take back what I said that you are similar to him. The two of you are the opposite."
The prince is guessing who the dragon is talking about.
"Anyway, I have been watching these humans for a week, and Cleo is not the only one you need to capture."
"Do you have any information you can share with me, madam?"
"Hmm. Let's clean this castle first, then let's go to your castle and feed me! I haven't eaten since a week ago" the prince looked terrified again and stepped backward, away from the teenage looking dragon.
"Haha! Don't worry, humans don't taste good. I stopped eating them a long time ago. Your normal food is fine. "
"That's a relief, Madam."
"Okay! Now, you need evidence to imprison Cleo, right?" she asked, to which the prince nodded in response, "I'll collect them for you so we can hurry and rest."
Fetahaya removes the fog and reveals all of the unconscious people at the castle, and using her magic, she piles them up in the garden, including the people inside. Afterward, she raised both of her arms and beat her hands in the air as if she were conducting an orchestra.
The castle that they were standing at suddenly vibrates and moves off the ground.
Prince Felip barely grabbed the nearest flagpole for him not to fall off the roof. After the whole castle was moved, an underground area was exposed, and the dragon didn't stop there.
She plucked out the underground area and used levitating magic to segregate the things she thought were important: documents, experimental materials, human corpses that were stored inside, and a bluish liquid kept in a tube-like glass container.
Prince Felip's mouth is wide open in amazement at the dragon's power and abilities.
She then returned the castle back to its original place and used levitating magic to bring the prince down in front of his carriage.
"Lets eat?" She dusted off her clothes and smiled brightly at him.
She then wakes up the unconscious castle and the prince's people.
…
"Your Highness! Please forgive us!" Everyone in his troupe is bowing and kneeling in front of him. They had woken up at the same time, and the dragon successfully altered their memories.
[They thought that the count released a trap that led to everyone falling asleep, and I alone did the investigation and collection of evidence.]
Felip Jhon frowned at the ridiculous alternate story of the Dragon. But his subordinates thought that his frown was because of their negligence, and they trembled from fear of the upcoming punishment.
"Just clean those up so we can go back now"
