After Bados left, another sigil could be seen attaching itself to Rapt's soul. When the sigil latched on to his soul, something unexpected happened as the other sigils moved and consumed the new one. Alongside the reconfiguring of the system, something else was stirred in his soul. A consciousness was born.
*System connecting to soul. Connection to soul complete.
*error.....error.....error. Unauthorized attempt to change software.*
*Initiating system defenses. error.....error.....error. System defenses failed.*
*Changes authorized. System beginning updates. Updates complete*
*System reconfiguring. System reconfiguration complete. Reboot beginning in 5,4,3,2,1.
When Rapt woke up hours had passed, jolting up as he remembered the unknown being that invaded into his cave. Rapt began checking the cave through various means, eventually finding no clue of the mysterious being. To his surprise, a greenish transparent thing appeared in front of him after he finished his inspection. This scared Rapt into a panic as he had no clue what this unknown 'thing' was or could do to him. Rapt began posturing aggressively trying to intimidate the thing in front of him to no avail. A few minutes passed before he deemed that this 'thing' would not leave his cave and attacked the thing. Similarity to the before it was to no avail as he never came close to the ting which always maintain its distance from him. After numerous attempts, rapt eventually gave up on attacking the 'thing'.
He walked into the corner he slept in before thoroughly inspecting the 'thing'. During the inspection, some words popped up in front of Rapt. If he had been able to read, he would have known that the words said.

After the words, Rapt experienced a minor headache causing him to close his eyes. When he opened them, he saw:

Looking at the 'screen', Rapt found that when he looked at the individual parts information about it would enter his mind allowing him to learn the basics. Rapt took his time to become familiar with the system. During this time, outside of his cave the landscape continued to the laws that had been changed.
Bados looked at Rapt's stats and thought one word, 'WEAK' as this was the weakest beast, he had ever given his blessing to. Rapt on the other hand after trying to run away from the screed, decided to attack it instead. After seeing that it had no effect Rapt went back to exploring the area, he was in. Bados still watching rapt noticed that he had gain quite a bit of size. 'His appetite should be going through a change soon', Bados thought as he added another type of insect to the forest. One that would be able to slightly challenge Rapt, these were baby scorpions.
Rapt during his exploration would stop and attack a dragonfly often. He soon ran in to a strange being after his 5th Dragonfly in an hour. It was his first in counter with one of the scorpions, something to Bados was intent on watching. The small scorpion and Rapt were about to have their first fight with another predator. Rapt circled the small insect as it mirrored his movements with Its tail and pinchers raised. Seeing the tail and pinchers raised Rapt instinctive feeling the need to avoid the tail and pinchers. Waving the tail back and forth, the scorpion takes the initiative as it moved quickly towards Rapt.
The Scorpion lashes out with its left pincher, leading to Rapt dodging to his right. The scorpion follows up quickly with its tail causing Rapt to dodge again. This time creating distance between the two of them, then circling again as the prepared to clash again. Rapt took the initiative charging towards the scorpion aiming to take off the tail. Rapt dodge the pinchers, waiting for the tail strike to come down. Once in range rapt bite down on the tail almost severing the poisonous barb on the tip.
While rapt had aim for the tail, the scorpion had used the time that Rapt took to bite the tail to bash him with its pincher. This knocked Rapt quite a distance away and stunned him as it was the first time, he had taken damage in this new environment. The scorpion used this time to close the distance to continue its offense, going in for an attack with its pinchers. It snapped at Rapt with its pinchers to only end up catching air in between its powerful pinchers.
Rapt who had regained his composure, dodged the pincher attack and aimed to finish the tail. Something he succeed to do, after that he jumped on the scorpions back clawing and bite the back of the scorpion. The scorpion would eventually be subject to a messy death as it failed in its attempts to dislodge the raptor. Rapt clawed and bite the scorpions back breaking through its exoskeleton and digging out its organs.
Rapt dragged the scorpion to a secluded spot to eat since he noticed that new creatures were now in the forest. After watching Rapt's fight, Bados thought about world that should be perfect for Rapt. This planet was located in the maximus galaxy and was named Ambu by the intelligent lifeforms that inhabit this world. Bados decide to teach Rapt the language of beast that they gained from the properties of the mana. Due to the exposure to mana, they would gain the ability to voice their thoughts through a minor type of thought projection. This allowed for more complex forms communication that led to a common language.
Rapt returned to his previous location to rest and eat before he felt the presence of the strong being. He tried to run again like the last time, but the being showed up in front of him. Rapt tried to run in a different direction and failed as some unknown force prevented him from moving. The being them walked towards him and placed its appendage on his head and immediately started to feel pain in his head. Two minutes had passed before the pain had become dulled as curled up in pain. That was when Bados and Rapt heard his first word spoken in the beast language.
"Pain" was Rapt's first word every spoken. This was when Bados remembered that this method of learning came with a cost which was rapidly increasing pain that could cause psychosis, becoming brain dead, or death. The process would usually last around 15-20 minutes and things have only gotten started. "Pain, so much pain" Rapt said as his vocabulary continued to increase. While Rapt was suffering, on his status screen a massive change could be seen happening in two areas as the stats intelligent and mental resistance would increase slowly before adding 0.1 to the overall stat.

With each full increase, the pain would temporarily decrease before starting to increase again. During the first reprieve Rapt could be heard saying, "what...is...hap...pen...Ing...to...me?". Before Bados could answer, the pain returned with a vengeance causing Rapt to writhe and scream about the pain. Until about a minute later another reprieve occurred leading to Rapt asking the same question," why...is...this...happening...to...me?". This time it was clearer than before with the process continuing with an increase of time between reprieves from pain until it ended around 25 mins later. This was when Rapt obtained his two first complete stats, which was in intelligence and Mental Resistance. Shortly, after the end Rapt was on the ground still feeling the aftershocks and sensory overloads from what would probably remain a traumatic experience for the time being.
Looking at Rapt laying down on the ground, Bados asked in the beast language," can you understand me clearly". After breathing through the aftershocks, he replied, "yes" before taking another short break and asking, " what happened to me?". Bados then told Rapt the short story of his birth, death, rebirth, and the cause of the pain that he just had to endure. This caused Rapt to ask one question, "why?".
Bados bluntly replied," because I felt that you deserved to have a chance to survive rather than being born only to die... so now I have many things I want to teach you before I send you to your new home world. the first thing we'll start with is the screen in front of you and what it's for and what it means to increase your stat levels and how that affects you level as a whole".
