"Haha..." Frank chuckled lightly, still focused on the enemies in front of him.
As the monsters took another step towards him, he stepped back once more.
"I'll put them into my Endurance Stat. Show me my Endurance Points."

He instantly felt rejuvenated.
[Endurance Points: 25/60.]
'So that's how this works.'
The next instant, the Gray Wolves jumped forward.
The attack was quickly dodged by moving sideways.
As one of the Gray Wolves was to his left, Frank pierced its side with his dagger.
Frank ran forward while dragging the weapon that was still embedded deeply inside the monster's side.
Once the dagger exited the monster's body, only a huge wound was left.
'This one should be done.'
A handful of seconds later,

'Running around was definitely not the best idea. I have to be mindful of my Endurance consumption.' Frank thought as he swung his bloody dagger.
A trail of blood appeared on the ground.
"Learning these kinds of things, that's what a Tutorial is for, huh?" Frank muttered as he faced the last standing monster.
Thanks to his slight advantage in Agility, defeating the Gray Wolf was an easy task.

The next instant, the bodies of the dead monsters turned to ashes and disappeared.
"What now? Will more of them appear at once or...?"

Howling resonated inside the dome and Frank turned in that direction.
Just like the System had answered, three more Gray Wolves had appeared.
"Alright. They shouldn't notice me from here." Frank said as he walked away from the Gray Wolves.
He sat at the opposite side of them, with his back against the wall.
'Guess I'll wait a bit. Recovering my Endurance Points is my priority right now.'

"Sure, I guess." Frank said, still paying attention to the Gray Wolves that were walking around and howling in the distance.

Then, Frank checked out the Weapons & Armor category.

"That's it?" Frank asked, utterly disappointed.
[More will be available once your level is higher.]
[More will be available once you collect more Gold Coins.]
"Oh. So I can only see the things I can buy right now."
[Correct.]
Frank raised his gaze towards the ceiling.
'I wonder how those guys are doing. I hope everyone survives this Floor at least...'
At the same instant, someone else was facing Gray Wolves.
Keith was standing in front of two of them.
'These monsters really aren't that strong.' He thought.
One of the Gray Wolves jumped towards him, but Keith calmly clenched his fist as he punched the monster's skull with all his strength.
The skull cracked and massive amounts of blood started pouring as the monster fell to the ground.

He defeated the remaining monster the same way.

Keith's Stats were incredibly high.
Even his base Strength Stat was 14 and his Agility Stat was 11.
But it was no wonder.
Out of the group, he was the fittest and only a handful of centimeters short from being the tallest.
After having to leave the orphanage, Keith got a part-time job as a construction worker.
The rest of his time was spent playing sports.
Those two reasons are why his Strength Stat, Agility Stat and Vigor & Endurance Stats were so high.
'From those 10 points I got, I put 4 into Agility and 6 into Strength. I leveled up twice and added 6 additional points to my Strength Stat. I wonder what I should use them on now.'
His style of fighting was very straightforward.
Crush the enemy using extreme strength, be fast enough to do that.
That was partly why Keith did not have the same endurance problem Frank had.
"I guess I'll go with Agility. Put those Unused Stat Points into Agility"

'I'm doing pretty good, but I hope everyone is okay. Especially Elisha, he can get reckless in situations like these. Alex probably chose the Easy Difficulty and Frank the Medium Difficulty just like me. But Elisha... As long as everyone chose the Medium or Easy Difficulty, we should all be able to make it' Keith thought as he took steps towards the Gray Wolves.
A couple of minutes before that, Elisha had chosen his Difficulty Setting.
