Tsubasa:Are you alright? She asked.
Kuro:Yeah! Let's go or we'll be late! He said.
Tsubasa:Okay, the breakfast is ready! She said.
After breakfast they went to the guild to take a quest.
In the guild building:
The receptionist was waiting for someone to take a quest.
Then, Kuro and Tsubasa entered inside.
Rcp:Welcome you two! Are here to take a quest? She said with an happy face.
Kuro:Yeah! So do you have any suggestion for us?
Rcp:Hum! she watched at the quest board and as pointing at one of the request she said:"This one, I think that it will be a good quest for a firsy mission!".
Quest:Deliver a parcel to the Big INN of Mariaport owner in 10 days. The parcel contain rare items.

Reward:1000 gold.
Kuro:Yeah! It's look interesting! He said as watching at the request.
Tsubasa:Hum? How far is Mariaport from here? She asked.
Rcp:I think it will take 4 and half days by cart! She said.

At that moment Blaze and Maria were passing in front of them.
Blaze:Hey! You two are going for your first quest? He asked with a huge smile.

Kuro:Don't worry it will be fine! He said. But where are you going? He asked.
Blaze:We are going on a monster hunt! He respond.

After that they went home to take some equipment and to say good bye to the kids.

They went to the north gate.
Kuro:Laura told us that Mariaport was 4 days from the capital on horseback! But will try to reach there in 3 days on foot! He said.

Kuro:Then,try to not be too slow! He said with a grin.

Then they passed the gate after being inspected by the guards.
They went a little far from the gate before beginning their challenge.
Kuro:One more thing, don't show too much your power when we'll be at Mariaport! Attracting too much attention is unnecessary!
Tsubasa:I see! She said with at serious tone not the usual happy one.
She had undestood the meaning of that remark.
They must stay discrete since they can handle all the foes that could stand in their way.
After that they took position to prepare themselves to sprint, and the moment after they had vanished.
They were running so fast that they were outrunning all the carriages that were passing there.
Then a big boar appeared in front of them and began to charge them up.
Tsubasa jumped in the air and put her knuckles before doing a front flip and finished by punching the boar on the head.
The impact of the strike was powerful enough to make a big hole through the head.
But at the moment that Tsubasa touched the ground another one appeared out of nowhere, it was having the intend to tackle her but before it could get any closer, Kuro appear from behind Tsubasa, sprinting and at the moment he was the most closer of the boar, he unsheathed his sword and with a fluid move he cut off it's head.
Tsubasa:Amazing! That sword is incredible! Where did you get it? She said excited.
Kuro:Huh? It's a gift that the master has given to me! He answered with his usual tone.
Tsubasa:I see! But you were more stronger that before, you have killed it in one hit! She said impressed.
Kuro:You did the same, so why couldn't I? He replied a little vexed.
Tsubasa:Don't take it bad, I was just a little surprised! She said to defend herself. But when did you trained? She asked.
Kuro:All the time! He answered.
Tsubasa:What is the name of that sword? She asked.
Kuro:Master said me that it was me who must name it, but for now I don't have any idea! He replied.
Tsubasa:Ok! Then will we keep going? She asked.
Kuro:Yeah, let's go!
And they continued there way.
Kuro was really training all the time, he was aware that he can't use any offensive type of magic. So he searched a way to increase his physical abilities. Then he has found that when he make circulate his mana in all his body, he became more powerful but there is a limit to that power. But he trained also his body to surpass that limit. He can now use it for 3 hours a day, with it his strength is 3 times higher than usual.
3 days later
Tsubasa and Kuro were in front of the gate of Mariaport.
Kuro:We did it! He said not surprised.
Tsubasa:Yeah! She said with an happy tone.
Kuro:Then let's deliver the package first, after that let's go round the city! He suggested.
Tsubasa:Ok let's do that! She answered.
Then the entered in Mariaport.
The city was just near the sea, we can see the ocean from the gate.
The gate was the highest spot of the city.
There was many shops selling many kind of article from the foreign. And many warehouses.
But mainly boats.
Then, they went to the Big INN of Mariaport.
Then They delivered the package to the owner.
After they were paid, they went round the city.
They didn't noticed but they were followed.
They were going to the INN to take a room for the night but they were stopped by a group of 6 people.
Man1:What did we get guys? He said with a teasing tone.
Man2:Hum! Nice find! We can earn a lot with these two! He said with a grin.
Kuro whispered to Tsubasa:"I'll handle this" and she nodded.
Woman:You're re right, that boy can be sold as slave and the girl can be sold to some noble men! She said.
Kuro:Do you really think that it's a good idea? He asked them with a menacing tone.
Man1:Don't try to bluff! You're just newbies, you can't win against us, we are all higher than silver! He said with pride. "So don't try to…" He was cut shutted off by Kuro punching his head.
The man's head hit the ground and he passed out.
All the others rushed to hit Kuro but he had already vanished.
He took out of the battle 3 other men.
But when he was stung by a needle in the neck.
Kuro extracted the needle.
But his vision began to blur.
Tsubasa was going to help him but was also stung and collapsed. She was being taken by the other men but Kuro used all his power of will to move himself and slashed one of them but was knocked down by another one.
Woman:That boy is too dangerous! Get rid of him! She ordered.
Men:Yes madam!
Man2:He is paralyzed by the poison now let's throw him in the sea and it will be seen as an accident! He suggested.
Other men:Yeah! Let's do that!
And they threw Kuro in the sea. And Kuro sank to the bottom of the sea.
Man1:Let's go! There no way to him to survive.
If at least he known.
After they left, a figure appeared and dived to the bottom of the sea to fish out Kuro and left with him.
Kuro's POV
It was dark there was no light.
Am I dead?
???:No, you're alive! A voice said.
Me:Who is there? I asked.
The voice sneered. It was a distorted voice, I couldn't even know if I was talking to a human or not but somehow it was a warm to hear it, even if a normal person would be scared of it.
???:Who I am doesn't matter! The voice replied.
Me:And if I'm not dead, where am i? I asked.
???:In your head! The voice replied.
Me:In my head? I asked to be sure.
???:Yeah! But there are more important things that I need to discuss with you! It said.
Me:Like what? I askes unfazed.
???:I have a question for you:"Do you want to be stronger?"
Me:Hum? What do you mean? I asked.
???:If you want I can give you my power! It said.
Me:Why? I asked hiding my thirst of power.
???:Don't be mistaken! I'll also ask you somthing in return! It said.

???:huh…are you alright? A female voice asked.
I lifted my head and saw a little girl in front of me.
Me:W-who are you? I asked a little confused.
It wasn't a human girl it was a…goblin?
She was about 3 ft high, and from what I've seen she looked to be about 10 years old, her eyes were azure blue, her skin was green.
???:I'm Maya! And here it's my house! She answered.
Me:Nice to meet you Maya! I replied. But how did I end up here? I asked.
Maya:It's dad that brought here! She answered.
Me:You're dad? I asked for confirmation.
Maya:Yeah! He'll be back soon! She replied.
I was about to ask her where he was when the door was suddenly opened by a very muscular goblin.
He was about 8 ft, his eyes were black, his skin was green and cover of a significant amount of scars. He looked to be a veteran warrior.
The goblin stared at me for moment before asking me:"Are you alright?" with a grave voice.
Me:Y-yeah! Thank you! I said.
Goblin:Thank you? Why? He asked seem a little confused.
Me:Because you are the one that save me right!? I replied.
Goblin:Yes, it's me but you don't have to thank me, I only did what anyone would do! He replied.
He look to be a good person, like his daughter.
But it's strange why do humans kill them?
In the capital there are many tasks of goblin hunt.
Are they special or are humans lying at saying that all monsters are full evil?
I was lost in my thought when my shoulder was tapped.

Thomas:WHAT A MONSTER LIKE YOU IS DOING HERE? He yelled at me.

Thomas:YOU HUMANS HAVE KILLED MANY OF OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILIES, YOU HUNTED LIKE ANIMALS, IT'S LIKE A GAME FOR YOU KILLING US! SO HOW DO YOU DARE TO BE HERE? DO YOU ONLY KNOW THE PAIN OF LOSING SOMEONE YOU LOVE? He yelled.

What? Then if that is true, what will they do to Tsubasa?
Me:Tell me all you know about them, I must find them! He said to Gadgel.
Gadgel:Why? He asked.
Me:I must save my sister! I replied.
Gadgel:You're sister? The girl that they took with them? He asked.

Thomas:His sister? He asked smoothly.

Thomas didn't understand, he haven't heard our discussion before leaving Gadgel's house.

I knelt next the patient and examined him a little before putting my right hand on his chest.
Me:Heal!
My hand was covered by a green light that envelopped the body of the patient as well.
His breathing came back to normal, and his fever began to vanish.
It took me about 5 minutes to fully heal him.
After he was completely healed, I began to leave.
Me:I've finished, he need some rest but he'll be all right now! I said as monotone as usual.

Suddenly I pinned her against the wall behind her with a dagger under her throat.

Outside the room there was some noise of fight.
Then, Gadgel entered in the room were I was.
Gadgel:I've finished! He said.
He had knocked all of the men outside down and tied them up.
Me:Good, then let's interrogate her! I said with an assassin look turned towards her.
Jessica:Do you at least know who you're attacking? She asked with a smirk.
Me:No, but you'll tell us all you know! I said with an intimidating tone.
She began to fell some fear.
Jessica:Then, what do you want to know? She asked trying to hide her fear.
Me:Already confessing? I said.
Jessica:I prefer save my life! She replied.

She said as crying more than earlier.

Jessica:Because only money count in this world! The only way for those like me to live in this world is to have enough money to be safe from been taken by them again! She replied.
Gadgel:That doesn't justify what you did! All of those you had sold to them had also a family! Did you ever thought of how many of them would never see their family again! Did you ever thought of the pain of been taken away from their family? He asked a little pissed of.
Jessica:Since I was freed from there, I've always thought that only thinking of myself was the best way to live in this cruel world,so I didn't cared of the others at all! She replied with a voice full of guilt.
Me:You had committed an error, but it's not too late,you can become a better person! I said seriously.
Jessica:Do you really think what you're saying? She asked as crying a little.

He is really believing in me, noone had ever believed in me since my parents death.

They leaved the room and entered in the one where all the cages were.
Kuro:Before leaving we need to do something! He said.
Jessica:What thing? She asked.
Kuro:This! He said as unsheathing his sword.
After that in an eye beating, he had cut all of th cages in pieces and all the prisoners were freed.
Kuro:All of you follow us, we'll lead you to a safe place! He said.
Elf1:Who are you? He asked.
Kuro:You can call me shin! We are here to make an end to all of these slave trafic! He said.
Goblin:Then, why is their boss with you? He asked.

Then they all calmed down and listened.

And all the prisoners followed him.
