Long live king Ogun! Shouted and greeted his subjects, another glorious year. Each came to pay homage to the king. King Ogun had gone through a lot in life,his parents had died when he was at his early teen, no siblings, now he got married but no child. Life had turned him into a beast with flesh of a human, he thinks feels and cares, only about himself. He Wondered most time, why is my life like this? Though appearing powerful in the eyes of his subjects, when alone he cries. The night before the annual meeting, he became scared, These thought; My kingdom! What happens when am gone? Will my kingdom be divided? Will I be childless forever? What is the solution? His thought only weaken him. A solution came to his mind, why suffer alone, when you can make everyone feel your pain?
The annual meeting began with all the necessary rituals, King Ogun called his spokeman to read the law he wrote last night, it's read; '' For the next five year no sexual act must take place, not even between a man and his wife, any new born baby within this duration will be put to death together with his or her family. Everyone is shocked,why? what? They pleaded with the king to revoke the law, but its can't, already signed. What will they do, they can't leave their land.
Seeing his people in great despair made king Ogun happy,yes! Finally everyone is feeling my pain, the pain I feel everyday. Each went back home,sad, head down, feeling lost.
