Synopsis
Our protagonist is Kojou Akatsuki, a quiet, honor student whom everyone looks up to. While he pretends to act like an honor student, and a perfect role model for his little sister, Sayaka, he lives and fights desperately the fears of his past. What he looks on the surface, and what he is in real life are the two sides no one knows about, except Kirihara Hana and Yamamoto Sousuke, the duo he met when he first stepped in the grounds of Setsuna Academy, from where his life changed.

Chapter 1 - Fate -Prologue

"Yes."

The winds hustled, shaking the leaves on the trees. The sky, colored in a reddish-blue hue, echoed with the chirps of birds as they went to their nest. The water in the river stopped- unwaveringly as if the world halted at the moment.

I could smell the sweet lingering smell of shampoo as I spread my arms and embraced her. Her long hair felt soft and silky as I gently slid my trembling fingers through them.

"It's fine,"

She grabbed my hand. I clearly remember the warmth of her face, the softness of her lips.

We closed our eyes- our breath grew wild. The warm sensation rubbed through my nose as my face twitched and our lips met. Our tongues interlocked and rolled in unison.

The chirping stopped- the winds died- the world paused.

I opened my eyes. My eyes met hers- a clear image of the setting sun printed on them. Her long eyelashes that I never found unordinary looked especially beautiful. I was, and still am, at a loss of words to describe it.

A light breeze hit my hand- the world resumed. The sun was almost gone, and the sky looked darker. The chirpings grew weaker as the buzzing of cicadas grew.

I didn't want to let go of her face. I could see her reddened face as she averted her eyes.

How much of a fool I was to have those misunderstandings? I looked at her swollen eyes. I didn't know, but I knew very well that I was the reason.

The scar that I received thirteen years ago was now just a bad memory.

It would be an understatement to call my life normal when now I look back. The scar left me completely broken, after all.

Though it all started thirteen years ago, my life changed when I took my first step in Setsuna Academy two years ago.
