November 2, 2020. 8:00 AM.
Even if Luna did not sleep well, she still was able to wake up early. She stared
blankly at the ceiling and roamed her eyes around her room, then her sight laid on the
umbrella leaning at the chair. She stared at it and remembered the guy instantly. She also
remembered that she planned to give the favor back through visiting and buying breakfast
at the place where he works. After several minutes, she went in her walk-in closet and
chose something to wear, took a bath, dressed up, and wore some make-up. She was
wearing a white off-shoulder top and white trousers. She went straight to the third garage
after and rode the Aston Martin One-77 which was colored gray and had a glossy finish.
The Porsche Taycan she used yesterday was being car-washed by the maids which is why
she didn't use it. She rode her way out of the garage and eventually, out of the mansion.
She went back to the parking lot where she parked her Porsche Taycan yesterday, since it
was nearby the Restaurant as well. When she was done parking her car, she left with her
gray Lana Mark's Cleopatra Clutch and her gold necklace. Luna arrived at WagDutards
and instantly noticed the bike parked outside which looked familiar, it was the guy's bike.
She entered the Restaurant and automatically noticed how there wasn't a lot of people
dining. Then, she walked straight to the counter and chose her order.
"I'll have one Sausage Burrito, one Fruit & Maple Oatmeal, two Big Wags, two
Hash Browns, and your biggest size of Choco Cola for my drink." Luna said while handing
her payment, which she computed mentally.
"One Sausage Burrito, one Fruit & Maple Oatmeal, two Big Wags, two Hash
Browns, and one large Choco Cola please." Tia announces at the mic that was connected to
Saul who was working at the Kitchen. "You can sit down and wait for your order, Ma'am."
"Aren't you going to give me a number stand?" Luna asks.
"We don't use them anymore since there are minimal people who dine in our
Restaurant, Ma'am." Tia explains.
Luna looked at back and found a table at the side, near the cashier. Each table had
was covered for privacy and was styled like a 90's diner. Saul prepared the order at the
Kitchen and looked at the receipt to double-check if he got everything right. He then asked
Tia who owned the order and volunteered to bring it himself, he looked around and walked
slowly to find the customer. When he stared blankly when he saw Lunael. He immediately
went to her table and placed the tray down. Saul sat down at the opposite side of the table
and held her hand hoping that she could recognize him.
"Lunael, this is me! This is me, Saul! How did you get here? What happened to
you? What happened to Petrus?" Saul said in an ancient language which they exclusively
used in Caelum and Infernos.
Luna pulled her hand away and said "Huh? What are you saying? I'm just here to
bring back the favor because you lend me your umbrella last night."
Saul realizes that she does not remember him and accepted it. He had a plan to start from
the beginning where usual married couples start, from getting to know each other. The
foundation of what a person does to fall for each other. Starting at introducing each other,
from being friends.
"I'm Saul, by the way, Saul Crepuscule. Nice to meet you." Saul said.
"Nice to meet you, Saul, and I'm Luna Ellise Morningstar. I hope we can be
friends." Luna answered in a friendly tone, like she usually does.
"She really looks like Lunael, even their names are similar." Saul said in his mind.
This is when he realized that Luna was Lunael and she just forgot him for some reason.
When Lunael's soul was transferred to Luna's body, she lost her memory of
Caelum, Infernos, Purgatoire, Golden Gates, Petrus, the Floating Island, and most of all,
Saul. It was in Petrus' chant that she would forget everything, as Lunael's punishment.
Petrus placed a barrier in her memories, for her not to repeat the sin that she had done,
which was falling for a Devil. But it was limited to Petrus' knowledge that Saul was also in
the human world and that Luna and Saul's world were linked.
They shook hands and told stories to each other, they ended when Saul was called by his
manager to do the plan they had to convince customers. Saul got the fliers in the Locker
Room, which had "Buy 1 Take 1" written on it. Before he left, he whispered a chant to the
fliers. "faciam hoc videntes trahere". He finished the chant and went out of the Room.
Meanwhile, Tia put on perfume to attract customers and Ms. Cranz prepared the cashier
and waited for customers. They were all ready and prepared. Saul gave half of the fliers to
Tia and they both went to the entrance of the Restaurant. Luna decided to follow them and
ask for some fliers to help them.
Tia, Saul, and Luna started to invite people and they were simply ignored and not
even looked at. They were treated like a speaking breeze. After a moment, there were a
group of three guys who approached Luna.
"Miss, you look beautiful." One of them said.
"I know, you look handsome as well. Now get this flier and eat here." Luna tricks
the group.
When one of the guys touched Luna, the chant worked. The three men went in and ordered
a huge bunch until their wallets were empty, and when it was, they left the Restaurant and
told everyone how delightful the food was at WagDutards. The three who were giving out
fliers suddenly felt motivated to invite people when they successfully convinced a group.
More customers were convinced because the fliers quickly spread to the crowd. Because
there were so many customers, the Restaurant was full that some even dined outside, and
some got take-out. Luna and Tia helped Saul from cooking at the Kitchen, and because of
the customer's desperation, they get their own tray at the counter. Then, they closed the
Restaurant and Cynthia thought they needed more staff.
"Saul, I want you to get a staff, just one. I'll be the one hiring the others." Ms.
Cranz commands Saul.
"Sure, Ms. Cranz, I'll find someone." Saul answers and looked at Luna.
"Oh, no, I can't. Schools about to start." Luna refuses.
"Please, Luna. Pleaaase." Tia tries to convince her.
"Why? Where do you study?" Ms. Cranz asks.
"I study at Sawtooth University." Luna answered.
"S.T.U., hmmm. I'll think about it if I'll let Saul convince you." Ms. Cranz said.
"What?!" Luna said surprised.
"Why? You're luck I'll be the on convincing you." Saul complains.
"Did you say something, Saul? I think I heard that you want to lose your job." Ms.
Cranz jokes.
"Oh, nothing, I said I'll whole heartedly convince Luna to work here." Saul said.
Saul heard where Luna was studying and realized they were in the same school, since
Michelle also studied at Sawtooth University. Sawtooth University (S.T.U.) is a
humungous private school that has its own Swimming Pool, Baseball Field, Basketball
Court, Volleyball Court, Badminton Court, Tennis Court, Soccer Field, and four two-story
dorm buildings, two dorm buildings for the boys and two as well for the girls. All the
dorms are 2 floors only and has 50 rooms each floor. This University is the most expensive
University in the whole Estuary City.
When they finished talking about hiring more staff at WagDu, they prepared to go
home. Tia finished changing and Saul was next at the Locker Room, and left as soon as he
finished. Saul said his goodbyes to Tia and Ms. Cranz first because he wanted to bring
Luna home.
"Let me bring you home." Saul offers.
"It's fine, you don't have to." Luna refuses.
"Come on, let me bring you home." Saul felt like she had a car with her but did
not tell her that he knew because he knows that it would seem weird to her.
"Okay, fine. But only until the parking lot."
"Sure."
While they were walking at the sideway that was quiet and surrounded by illumination
from the streetlights, the speaker that was at the post suddenly played a song.
"Seems like streetlights, glowing. Happen to be just like moments passing in front of me."
"Should we go to school together at November 4?" Saul invites Luna as they were
approaching her car.
"I'll think about it." Luna answered as she unlocks and rides her car.
"You take care, okay?"
"You too, Bye." Luna smiled at Saul.
Meanwhile, Saul rode his bike and biked his way home. Luna turned on her radio at her car
and the same song played. Saul was by the sidewalk biking and heard the song once again.
"All these streetlights, glowing. Happen to be just like moments, passing in front of me. So
I hopped in the cab and I paid my fare. See, I know my destination. I'm just not there in
these streets."
