This will be a short chapter just detailing him growing up to leaving the mountains.

unaware of what he has done his weak body just laid there on the now frozen floor beside the corpses of his parents. after a few weeks a neighbour came and opened the door only to be blasted by a freezing wind turning them to ice, the passersby(plural) felt the fringes of their clothes freeze and their faces go pale as if they wore nothing in the dead of winter. one quick man threw rocks at the door to close it luckily the brittle door shut, they then went to investigate their frozen friend their gloves were covered in a thin layer of ice upon touching them "damn that's cold, what kind of monster's in there" he growled, some in the crowd silently mourned the loss of their friends. after this incident, everyone in the village avoided the house unable to do anything about it.
10 years pass and Hanlen had grown into a young boy, while unable to read or write he was able to speak perfectly fine even understand the word's rough meaning, "I've been stuck here for my whole life so far but I can't get out" the tools he could have used have long been frozen over in a thin layer of ice, the whole house had a thin yet extremely stronger layer of ice on the walls that he was unable to break through. he pieced together that 2 of the corpses were his parents, he didn't care as he didn't know them he had no reason to care, he did thank them for creating him though. he returned to doing physical training as he learnt from trying to get out that if he tired out his muscles he'd get stronger.

how he gets out may seem to unlikely but hey it's my story it happens how i want it to i manipulate the chances of things happening, i will try to keep it within reason most of the time.
