I woke up to the Bright morning sun feeling very happy because school was back in session,so I didn't have to spend the rest of my time thinking about what I shouldn't whenever Chloe didn't visit,I have been praying for school to reopen soon and my prayers had been.
"Wake up Aurora we are going to be late" I shook Aurora who was surprisingly still sleeping.
"What now?" She turned with her pillow.
"You are going to be late for school"
"It's time for school already" She mumbled.
"Yes, haven't you gotten enough sleep?"
"I'm just so tired" She yawned and stretched herself as she sat on her bed.
"Come on I know you don't like being late" I said and left the room to go do some chores.
"Ok I'm coming" She said after I shut the door.
I went to the kitchen to do the dishes while Aurora went to clear the leaves that had fallen from the tree in front of our house.While I did the dishes the thought of what had happened to me on my birthday kept reoccurring in my mind, it's been two weeks now and nothing else had happened, this made wonder if what dad had said was true maybe it was all an illusion that had been made real to me through my imaginations, I felt really bad about the way I talked to my dad that day because I felt like he didn't care about what had happened to me, but I later apologized to him.
"You guys are up already" mom said, she was resting on the entrance door with a glass of water in her hands.
"Yes mom,we don't want to be late" I said, cleaning one of the plates with a piece of cloth.
"You have really changed"
"Yes mom"
"And…. I guess it's because of Chloe"
" Mmmmm maybe"
I concentrated on washing the dishes and pretended like I wasn't really interested in what she was saying, Chloe was part of the reason I started getting up early to go to school,but the main reason I was always getting up late was because the time I lie down on my bed all I could think about was how bad my life was and with those thoughts I found it hard to fall asleep and then I ended up sleeping late,then I would suffer the consequences the next morning, but when Chloe came into my life all those things changed, she made feel happy and before I went to bed I would think about how much fun I had with her that day then I wouldn't have any problem falling asleep.
"I have to go take my bath now" I said.
I wiped my hands with the piece of cloth and quickly left to take my bath.
"Ok dear" mom said.

We met Chloe down the hill,I wasn't expecting her to be there but I still liked that she was there.
"Hi Mike,Hi Aurora" She waved,as we were almost down from the hill.
"How are you doing Chloe?" I asked as I climbed down the last step.
"I'm okay, you?"
"I'm okay too"
"And you Aurora?" She asked.
"I'm fine thank you" Aurora replied, smiling.
"I didn't expect to see you here" I said as we walked down the road.
" Yeah,I thought I could Walk to school with you, since this is the first day of school"
" That's nice of you"
" Thanks"
" Uhhhuuuuu...….." Aurora started with her jokes.
" Aurora!" I cautioned her.
" What, you guys like pretending" She murmured.
" What was that?"
" Nothing" She said scratching her head.
"Right" I said and continued my discussions with Chloe.
"So Chloe what are your plans for school this session"
"Well I don't know, make the best grades"
"But you always do that"
"Yeah with you taking it away from me sometimes"
"I'm not really into struggling to make the best grades,I just do my best and take what comes out of it"
"And how well that turns out for you" She smiled.
" I just do my best" I smiled back at her.
"You really don't like stressing yourself" She said.
" No I don't"
" Have you ever wondered how great you will be if you tried"
She was right I never stressed myself about anything concerning my studies I just went about it the normal way and still I competed for the top spot in the class with Chloe who I can remember from all those days of always staring at her spent most of her time reading.
"Yes but you wouldn't like that"
"You won't still top me that much"
"Hey can you guys talk about something else" Aurora interrupted.
"Like what Aurora?" Chloe asked.
"Like if Chloe or maybe you still have people in your class trying to kill you"
She had a point I haven't given a thought that there could be other people who felt the same way Lisa felt about Chloe, nobody would try to kill me except now that I am one of the most popular boys in class after coming up with the plan to catch Chris.
"You have a point Aurora"
"Yes, I really thought Lisa was a good friend"
" She was just pretending" I said.
" And who knows if some of your friends are doing the same" Aurora said.
" I really have to be careful" Chloe said, wearing a worried look now.
"Don't worry Chloe, I will be with you all through, what happened with Lisa will never repeat it's self" I assured her.
"Thanks Mike"
" You should also do the same Mike" Aurora said.
"I don't have enemies"
"Everyone has enemies Mike, or at least an enemy"
" Especially now that most of your classmates like you" She added.
" Ok I'll be careful"
There was some moments as we walked down the road,we were getting close to the forest and the school was visible to us now, but as we got to the road leading into the forest I looked at the road and then something out of this world happened to me,my eyes were but I saw a revelation of how the three men that were chasing me that night had died,I saw a shadow that was moving as fast as lightning and as the men were pursuing me it ran into their front and pushed them down and while they tried to stand up he held the first person's hand and forced it up.
"What are you doing?" The other man asked, wondering why his colleague would have his dagger over his head, and soon all that could be heard of them were screams,I was so terrified of the scene that I had to scream, forgetting that I was still in the company of Aurora and Chloe.
"What is it Mike" Chloe shook me into reality.
"No no no!" I screamed,then I realized that I was back in the real world.
"What's wrong with you?, you immediately stopped moving once you looked at the road, you were staring at it" Chloe explained to me how I had suddenly stopped moving.
"And then you started screaming like you had a nightmare with your eyes open" Aurora added.
"We should hurry up to school" I said and started walking fast to school in order to avoid explaining what I just saw to them.
"Wait you didn't tell us what happened!" Chloe said as they both doubled up in order to catch up to me.

In class my mind wasn't with me, what was happening to me first it was the mysterious things that only I saw now it's a revelation of how the death of three men trying to kill me occurred,I was too busy thinking about all this that I didn't hear miss Nicole ask me a question.
"Mike!" She yelled before she could get my attention.
Chloe turned to give me that ,what is going on with you look.
"Can you please recite my very last words accordingly" miss Nicole said.
I wasn't paying an atom of attention but how things turned out surprised me.I stood up wondering how I was going to handle the humiliation I was about to receive, then suddenly words started popping out of my mouth and after my mouth was done speaking out of its own will I covered it in shock and I was really expecting something nasty from miss Nicole, but what I got instead was an applause from the entire class.
"You got lucky this time Mr Mike"miss Nicole said and returned to her seat.
"How did you do that?" Chloe asked,after I sat down.
" I don't know" I said, still looking shocked.
"Even I couldn't have said that in accordance like you did"
"Nobody could have" I was completely frozen.
" Snap out of it" She held and Shaked my right shoulder.
" I'm okay" I said and laid my head on my desk.
" Ok tell me what's wrong with you when you are ready" She said and faced her desk.
I woke up very happy this morning, but I just couldn't tell what I was feeling now,my feelings were mixed terrified, surprised and anxious all together,all I wanted to do now was go home and lie on my bed till evening.
I was waiting for Aurora to finish with her last class which for a reason I didn't know took longer than ours when Chloe showed.
"Hi Mike"
"I thought you had gone home"
"Go home, you act like you don't know me"
" I'm sorry Chloe is here that I've had a complicated day" I said cleaning my eyes with my right hand.
"I can see" She walked up to me and touched my right shoulder.
"But that's why I am always here for you" She said.
"The whole thing is complicated Chloe" I said turning away from her.
"I understand your complications"
"It's not easy to say Chloe"
" Hey"She took grip of my chin lightly and pulled my face to her's.
"I promise I will listen"
" If you guys are going to kiss just do it and go home" The cleaner said,he was standing near one of the lockers in the hallway and he had gotten the wrong idea of things.
"No no sir we weren't going to kiss" Chloe said letting go of my chin, she struggled a little before saying the word kiss.
"Then why were your faces close to each other's?"
"We were...…." I tried to say something but it left me soon.
"We were rehearsing for a play" Chloe said, too fast than usual.
"Ok but I don't think the school hall is a nice place to rehearse" He said and left us alone now.
"That was close" Chloe heaved a sigh of relief.
"As if he would have done anything"
" Ha ha you are sounding better already"
" Not for long"
" Don't say that,can you tell me about what's bothering you now?"
I heaved a sigh of relief before I started telling her about the scary vision I saw this morning.
" Ok did you know about the three men that Lisa hired to murder me?"
" Yes,they were the ones that tied me up" She replied.
"Ok did you ever wonder what happened to them?"
"Weren't they arrested by the police?"
"No they weren't" I sighed.
"Then what happened to them?"
"They died"
"You killed them" She opened her mouth in shock.
"No I didn't" I quickly covered her mouth,so she wouldn't say any other dangerous word.
"Then what happened to them?" She managed to say with my hand over her mouth.
"Something killed them, something that was...…." I removed my hand from her mouth
" That was what?"
" I don't know trying to protect me or something"
" And what is this something?" She asked,I could sense the doubt in her voice.
" I don't know he looks like a shadow and he disappeared immediately after killing them"
" So he's just like a mysterious protector" She laughed
" I know you don't believe me and I shouldn't have even tried to make you believe me"
" No no Mike I believe you"
" You probably think I'm the one that murdered them or I'm just making up the story" I said looking down.
"Don't say that Mike"
" We are done" Aurora said,as her classmates along with their teacher walked out of the class,so we had to end the conversation.I was mostly quiet during our walk home only talking whenever Aurora asked me a question about what she was being taught in class,I had a lot going on in my mind.
