Alastair was back at the Bastion Syndicate, standing atop the tallest tower of the headquarters. She was looking over the horizon with a dejected expression on her face. Most would have wondered how confident Alastair had fallen into such a state. Something serious must have happened for her to produce such an expression.
Soteria emerged right beside Alastair. And seeing the dejected expression of her master, Soteria had a dangerous thought of disposing of the monstrous dragon herself. But she knew it wouldn't do anything but satisfy her own greed and selfishness. Soteria walked forward and sat right beside the depressed Alastair and questioned.
"Is there something you wish to say, Lady Alastair? You don't have to hold it yourself. After all, I am your maid and will always be here for you." Soteria's words echoed throughout the top of the tower. Alastair turned her gaze towards Soteria and looked her right in the eyes before looking back at the horizon once again.
