Regius had fought several giants up to rank 9 this entire time while killing giants of several clans. Regius had noticed that each time after the first giant, he had fought ten giants of all different affinities at the same time in waves. They grew in strength with each wave while the last couple of waves had been all rank nine giants. Regius sat on a mountain of corpses that he had stacked up this entire time as he solidified his breakthrough into rank five.
Titania was right. These people were more experienced than humans by far and not even he had avoided injuries during this entire time. He had made it so far, just relying on his powerful new body and the runes combined with his control of mana. Regius looked down at the Giant bodies beneath him. They looked a lot like humans, but their eyes and hair matched the color of their affinity. It made Regius think of how Titania had gotten these giants here.
