Regius' sword was too big to put on his waist so as he was gathering the mana necessary to execute Valkyrie's Last kiss he had to make the blade bloat in the air with mana. The original technique had used wind and lightning mana but after coming into contact with the space element and realizing that's all he was trying to imitate he switched the technique to work off of space mana which had made it much more lethal.
There was a tearing sound and Monarchae Furia burst from the sheathe, and the signature silver line of his most potent technique formed and Regius smiled as he held the blade in one hand as the sheathe fell into his mana space Regius used the skates and shot high into the air and while there he could see that the union had already engaged the Beast Cult so his only task now was to fight these insects and win because deep down that's what he wanted, to claim victory over an entire army.
