Regius got onto the final floor and it was larger than he expected to be. The floors before this had been large training rooms, but nowhere near the size of his training room back at the school. The first thing he noticed was Zane and Edelweiss, who sat recovering. Their aura felt much stronger than they did when they entered the tower.
They were both sky saints, but whereas Zane had a primordial mark, Edelweiss was now sporting a primordial mark, which he wasn't before they entered the tower. Regius had wounded him heavily during the tournament, and his recovery was not as easy as Zane's. He had only been rank five, just like Ashlyne during the wedding, and now here he was firmly in rank eight. Regius turned away from them and inspected the rest of this level. They were technically no longer in the tower, but on top of it.
