Regius had stood himself up, brushed himself off and continued onto the next floor, but Chordis never planned to end things there. Regius had opened a new path for him when he destroyed his physical body, but it was a slight that the man fully intended to pay back. Regius finally noticed the massive amount of mana that was rapidly expanding his inner world now, and that his equipment had been ready for use. His mana world was expanding and he could feel new strength, but he could not find it in himself to be happy about it.
He knew that whatever Chordis had planned had only just begun. Regius sighed and finally walked onto the next floor. He found himself back in his house, but this time he was Victoria Verl. The following floors had him replay that scene from every angle possible, but it all ended the same way, as if he was watching a movie on repeat. He would watch as Swigen killed his father after he ran out of mana and was powerless to continue.
