Regius actually had to travel through a spatial channel on his way back while, after stepping through the portal, his body began shuttling along a silver pathway. Regius was on the path for what felt like several hours when he suddenly felt tired. He had broken through rank six and in the process fought a battle with the first people to actually make him feel like he could die. Regius had been gone from home for several months, but Bishop had told him something before they left for the meeting that day.
