"Why would you get in trouble?"
"We weren't given the orders to return nor bring you with us."
"Wouldn't that be a crime?"
"Maybe."
"So you're hiding us?" Emmanuel asked.
"For now. Derek and I will try to sort everything out when we get back to Nedir."
I nearly choked. "Nedir?"
"Yeah, our capital city. Why so shocked?"
I shook my head, though my expression appeared otherwise. "Nothing."
The rest of the ride was quiet. As I observed everything about me, I thought. I was in another planet, in the margin of a city, standing beside one that belonged to me in my dream. I was in a hurry, yet it felt vain that I couldn't decently appreciate all that I've seen.
