Ethan" Ugh, not today Crozzo. I'm busy."
Welf" Busy making weapons of mass destruction?"
Ethan" You know what? Let me tell you the difference between your weapons and mine. Your weapons are made when you forge metal and mana together. Warping the weapon based on the elemental properties you imbue into it, causing the weapon to change and be a volatile piece of magic. That's literally one of the many reasons why they cause so much damage and break afterwards. My weapons, however, are made like normal weapons. It's only after I make the weapon that I enchant it with whatever enchantment I deem necessary. My weapons don't break amd they don't degrade over time. They're not volatile like yours either. Not only that but my weapons do not damage everything in their path, they are controlled and small scale. Now tell me what exactly you see wrong with MY weapons."(Never thought I'd make Ethan snap like that but I personally don't like Welfs reasonings behind not making magic weapons.)
Welf" Well... I..."
Ethan" Exactly. You hate your magic weapons because you don't want them to be used in war. But that's the thing, even a regular Iron sword is used for war. One other thing. Have you ever tried to find another use for your magic weapons? You could make one use items that can heal the critically wounded on the spot or to create a barrier that defends against an overwhelming attack but you don't. You're too scared of your OWN weapons."
I then walk away into my Villa leaving Welf to his thoughts. Making my way inside I head straight to the Alchemy lab, ready to start on a project I've been working on. During my training with Miach, I had accidentally created a new Liquid Metal. It actually blew up in my face when I made it sending me out a window. When I went back in to check what was broken I saw that some of the new liquid metal mixed with some iron scrap that was nearby causing it to shine silver. When I ran some tests on it I found that the new metal could absorb kinetic energy practically eliminating any force hitting it.
I have been try to replicate and improve it and only recently was I successful. Turns out that it will turn solid when it comes into contact with other metals. When it goes solid then it can't be melted back to a liquid form to be forged. Instead, what you need to do is mix the liquid into the melted metal amd forge the metal as it cools. It might be difficult but can be done with a lot of practice. In making weapons it would have to absolutely be mixed with Orichalcum so that the weapon gets the Sharpening ability. For shields, it has a lot more leeway due to not needing to do much after. I've named this new Liquid Metal, Vibraninite.(LoL)

I couldn't find a process for making and forging with Vibranium on the internet so I just made one up. Plus since Vibranium doesn't exist in this world I decided to tweak the name.
I sense a Guardian shield coming along.
