In the evening, she met Rihana,they exchanged a few words and learnt that the other two roommates went out for shopping. As there was no one for them to disturb,they had a pleasant time studying and doing their works.That day Anu slept early and didn't knew when the others returned.
Next day as usual Anu went school ,Sanju was busy with his work.In the evening when she was returning from school on the way she stopped at the convenience store to buy some necessities,while paying at the counter she saw vanilla milkshake which reminded her the garden talk she had with Sanju,soon she bought a few of those cartons and returned to dorm .
she cleaned herself and changed in comfort clothes ,took out the milkshake that she bought on the way back to the dorm and called her mom,after listening to her mom's nagging and sharing about her day ,she hung up .She took out her books from her school bag and started solving physics problems that she got from her teacher to solve.
Soon it was time for the dinner,she went to the dinning room along with Rihana and had her dinner.After dinner she came back ,took out her mobile stuffed her earphones into her ear played her favorite Playlist and went to the balcony, enjoyed the cool evening breeze and blazing lights of the city. After a few minutes she back and opened her book to start studying which she soon gave us as she cannot concentrate on the topic.It has been like this these past days, she cannot concentrate on things as she will always be reminded of her Mr.Therapist.
'Anu you cannot be be like this,be brave it's just a call you can do it 'she took her mobile,opened her contact list ,scrolled through it and found Sanju's number.As she was about to daily,she recieved a call from her cousin from her mother's side,after exchanging a few words she hung up. Soon she recieved another call from Shiva.'Everyone wants to call me today itself,when I finally found the courage to call him' she cursed and let out a long sigh.
"What is it, monkey?"Anu expressed her displeasure.
"Did I disturb you lollipop?Never mind ,I called you to let you know that I am leaving to city H and won't be back soon .so take care of yourself while I am not here.okay?"
"Okay.why are leaving suddenly?"Anu asked.
"It's my cousin's marriage from my mother's side.I have to attend...."He was telling her his plans over there when She interrupted him"wait a minute, someone's calling me," when she saw the caller ID "Monkey ,I will call you later."without waiting for his response she hung up and took a few deep breathes to control her heart beat and picked up the call.
"Hello"Anu answered the call.
"Hey,it's me Sanju."a deep voice replied.
"I know..." 'what is that Anu,how can you say that?'she mumbled ."How are you doing?"she asked him.
"Am doing great,just busy with work, what about you?"
"Ummm...Just busy with school,i just came yesterday and had a lot to cover from those missed classes ."
"Good to hear that you are back,but you didn't tell me that you are back?" 'Wait what the actual heck Sanju ,how can you ask her like that?what will she think. 'He Contemplated.
"I thought about calling you and was about to but got another call, " 'Great now he will think that you are dying to call him' she sighed."why didn't you call me before?"
"Don't bluff, you dropped the paper slip with my number that I gave you ."he complained.
"I don't need a slip ,I remembered your number."Anu replied.
'Waaah Sanju she remembered your number just by glancing at it...wait' "So you remember all the numbers in your contacts list?"
"why would I do that?i remember what I need to not all of them and especially important one's " Anu face palmed herself ' now you told him that he is important to you?How can you do that Anu..!What happened to your IQ?'
'Wait ,she said I am important to her. ' "So I can give it a try?"
"Hmm...what?"she questioned not understanding what he meant.
"Hahaha....Nothing."He laughed.
Hearing his laughter, her lips turned upwards forming a sweet smile.
"Did you finish your dinner?"He asked .
"Yes ,You?"she returned the question.
"Yeah...just now.what plans do you have for tonight?"
"Just studying,solving problems,sleeping."Anu replied "what about you?"
"Waiting for you infornt of your dorm."
"What?Don't make fun .I won't believe you?"She was surprised to hear that he was waiting for her.Still she peeked through the curtain.
"why are you peeking when you don't believe me?"he raised his eyebrow with amusement at her antics.
"I didn't "she refused to admit "so you really are here.why are you here?."
"Just wanted to see you.Come out."He asked her to come out .
"I can't come out now,our curfew starts from 8 pm and it's already 8.30. now."She grunted with annoyance.
"It's okay.Come to the balcony."She could hear the eagerness in his voice dying down.
"Yes,wait for me" she ran back to the mirror, checked out her appearance and dashed towards the balcony.
Looking at her acting like a girl who is going to meet her boyfriend the others in the Room where dumbfounded as they thought all Anu does is studying. They have been looking at her from the moment she recieved call.Unlike her usual self she is blushing and showing various expressions on her face that made them to think whether this girl was their roommate or someone else who possessed her.
When she rushed to the balcony,slowly they peeked through the curtain to find out whom she was greeting.In the balcony they saw her waving at a young man when they followed her sight .
Anu smiled and waved at him to which he returned with a wave."why did you come here?"she asked him again.
"I told you,I wanted to see you."he replied with a smile making Anu go blind.
Like a starstruck fool ,Anu smiled at him foolishly.
Her roommates looked at Anu as if they have seen a ghost and soon returned to their beds.
"She is also like us?"Swetha started the immediate discussion of the love life of their roommate.
"I told you not to get to conclusion without understanding her,you made such a fuss just because she transferred from the capital thinking she is a rich kid.Even if she is rich ..it doesn't matter,not all rich kids are problematic."Rihana retorted at Swetha for her past behavior.
