There are various people in the world, who feel invincible. For them, at times it subconsciously feels as if their passion gives the Earth it's spin, while their will upholds the atmosphere.
That's the strength of blind optimism- there's a lot of strength, but it doesn't know it's own strength.
Such optimism shatters when it encounters harsh circumstances, often changing into a different form of optimism, which could be called blind progressive optimism.
In this case, the person finally knows their own strength, but they have a false delusion towards their potential and their rate of growth. Such optimism can only be shattered through experience of harsh reality, through passage of time.
When one loses faith in themselves, often they attribute faith to an alter- super ego. People develop faith in a guide, or a guardian angel, or perhaps something else. They attribute the strength to fix and overcome any situation in them, believing that when the time is right, the strength would be channeled into them. That faith also shatters in face of an irreversible, deep loss.
When faith fails, struggle begins.
People fight for the sake of what they believe in, things that they believe in which their happiness reside. Conviction in their birthplace, their idea of a heaven, or their construct of goodness. But in countless wars that have been initiated, nobody wins. Whether it's a war with other people, or a war within oneself.
Zohan:[Even Gandhi failed and had to go back on his principles, when he was quite old and became sick.]
There were many people who talked about following the principle of minimum harm, as far as it was practical and possible. Often being serious didn't mean being sincere, since it tempered with one's ability to do their best.
People just having fun, just taking something as a hobby could do far better than others.
Either you're enlightened or you're not, all you could do is empty your mind and wait.
Zohan:[I'll wait more]
There was once a case where a man had the choice of saving couple of his friends from impending doom, but becoming unable to save one. He waited and brainstormed for ways to save everyone, and then a split second later, he found himself to late to save anyone.
Often the subconscious seems to be able to do great calculations. People who are confident in their subconscious, feel as if they are getting far more luckier, with things like dices. Their choices also improve.
But again, none of these were of any help to Zohan, since he had a different mind, with much different physics and function than the human brain.
Maybe there was no way out.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Zohan started reading about the beasts. Turns out, they weren't much different than cultivators, most were quite intelligent life forms. They would overutilize [White Lotus], to the point of not letting them bear seed, while attack and destroy [Black Lotus]. They were quite present minded, lacking long term planning and preparations.
There there were the demonic cultivators. One faction absorbed the cultivated essence of cultivators, whom Zohan pictured as Vampires, instead of learning various complex pictograms. Other absorbed the beast essence of demonic beasts, and used it to augment themselves. Zohan pictured them as Werewolves.
There were also mysterious demonic cultivators, but Zohan had to learn various other things in order to comprehend what he was given about them.
More time passed, but Zohan had no proper sense of time in this different world, apart from the growing need of nourishment.
At the end, he felt like he had no option.
Zohan:[I don't want to kill anyone. I don't want anyone dead for me either]
He could also not look for death not caused by him and not done for him, which was also going to waste.
He grabbed the seeds that he was given, to throw them away.
But then he had an epiphany. He ate those seeds themselves, all four of them.
Zohan:[So be it]
The Red Sky slowly turned into a form of multi dimensional starry seeming blue sky, due to some phenomenon unknown to Zohan.
A deep feeling rose from within him in response to the change in the sky, a sensation of longing, similar to one that he'd felt at the end of his time in his former world.
He ran out, looking for a moon. However, there was no such thing anywhere in the world.
{Mystic full Moon}
The light was imprinted within him.
You can have a sun reflected on the moon, then on a pond and finally on a wall. And so, most of the quality might be lost, but there's still light.
And there was light imprinted within him.
{Oh wrapped Jewel hard to define}
{Enlighten with Light that burns divine}
{Run Wild Spread Wide}
{And raise your mind's eye}
{Unwrap beyond time}
A transcendent [Lotus] different from any ever seen in that universe was born.
{Oh stellar might turn infinite}
{Awaken and transform life}
It bloomed and established Zohan's foundation.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The unknown phenomenon vanished just like it had appeared, as soon as Zohan's foundation was established.
Zohan also decided upon the path he'd take in the world.
It wasn't the same as anyone else, it wasn't compatible with anyone either. He couldn't be classified as a cultivator, or a demonic cultivator, according to what he'd read.
He figured that he would bid his time for a little longer in the sect, but then he'd make his escape.
