The garden was a calm and beautiful place in the site. It took away a tiny portion of the worlds pain and transformed it into serenity and peace.
"How are you? You know, after what happened to 6." We sat on the bench staring at the scenery.
"He didn't tell me. Why? He was dying yet he didn't tell me." I sat holding my head with my hands looking at the floor with dull eyes.
"He's always been like that. A kind man… in the simulation and out. Its somehow what makes him terrible friend. He doesn't talk about thing that will upset others. It is annoying but he means no harm." I sat up with a curious thought now circling.
"In the simulation? You knew him in that hellhole." 9 looked at me with a smile on his face.
"Yeah I knew him in that hellhole… But thats a story for another time. Right now we have to leave before the hunting dogs get here." His face now turned serious.
"Hunting dogs? What are those?" We started walking towards 6 room.
"Hunters are what we call them. Their official titles are death squads. Best of the best… other than a spectre. Now a spectre is a predator to us. They're relentless and dangerous alone but if we ran into multiple… lets just say it wouldn't be pretty. They're monsters. We lost a couple of us to them." We started carrying 6 in a sling down a tunnel under the desk in the cupboard .
"They may be monsters but they still haven't caught us yet have they. Lets not our friends sacrifice be in vein. We have to keep fighting… For them." We placed 6 down and started started sealing the tunnel.
"Oh that reminds me I wanted to give you this." He handed a pair of black leather gloves to me. "They may not be my best work but they should work. They're electro glove, they tap into the users power supply and sends a controlled shock to the finger tip but can be used for close range and long range. Your the only one who can use them without risk."
As I put on the gloves a tingling sensation filled my finger tips. Sparks rose from my fingers clashing against each other. It was mesmerising.
"They should be more than enough. Quick lets hurry up and get 6 to the end of the tunnel." We continued down the tunnel for about two hours until we found ourselves at a steel metal trapdoor with wooden steps leading up to it.
As we passed through I saw a strange vehicle pointing towards a garage door.
"Put 6 in the back seat and get in. i'll open the door." A loud clacking sound filled the room until the door was fully opened to a view of great mountains and… a giant ledge leading to oblivion.
The vehicle started moving towards death.
"Hold on to something. It tends to get a little bumpy." The colour drained from my face as 4 and 9 put on their seatbelts.
"9 wait aren't we driving to a cliff edge!?" The vehicle drove of the ledge…
