When Leywin saw the fiend imp's information, he was somewhat disappointed. Although he knew the Variant Imps were one of the weakest E Rank monsters, he thought turning them into a fiend would increase their strengths. However, the boost the imp got wasn't significant.
*(F Rank - all stats need to be between (1- 30) points except intelligence. Intelligence has more to do with mana, although it does increase thinking speed. E Rank - all stats need to be between (31- 60) points.)
Leywin couldn't help but sigh.
"Kill as many imps as possible, " he commanded the Imp.
The imp nodded and jumped at the surrounding imps swinging its claws around. The imp's claws had a lava-like liquid that scorched each enemy the imp clawed.
Leywin saw this and smiled, the magma ability he gave the imp increased its destructive capability without increasing the imps strength stat.
Leywin thought about making more fiends but he shook his head. Although he wanted to make more fiends, he did not want to attract too much attention to himself.
Leywin inwardly shook his head again thinking about what would happen if anyone found out he was a Fiendgod,. The outcome would not be a good one given his current status and backing.
Clearing those thoughts out of his mind, he continued to slaughter every imp that was nearby. He was like a reaper and every swing of his sword was casting down judgment.
In the span of twenty minutes, Leywin already leveled up five times and the Fiend Imp leveled up once.
He sent the Fiend Imp into the FIEND SPACE when he saw how close he was to the students.
Soon Leywin arrived in front of the group of students. It took him a long time to arrive because he focused more on killing the imps to level up than rushing over to the group.
When the students saw Leywin, they were surprised at first but then their faces lit up with joy. They knew Leywin was among the strongest in the group and the fact he was still alive meant that he probably leveled up enough to get a class. This means that he was probably stronger than he was before the class trip.
"Leywin, it's great that you are okay, help us kill these monsters." A student who seemed to be leading the group said.
Leywin simply nodded. He felt uncomfortable with the way their faces lit up when they saw him, it was like they forgot how they used to treat him. He didn't criticize or use this opportunity to make fun of them but he remembered what Sam said.
"There's no hard feelings, only benefits."
He will never forget those words.
Determination filled his eyes as he continued to cut down imp after imp.
After a couple of minutes, he looked around to check on the state of the group. Although most of them were hurt, they were doing pretty well.
The reason for this was because the imps charged mindlessly at their enemies. The students have been training themselves for years and honed their fighting skills, with the recent increase in stats and Class selection, the students were more than capable of holding their own against one of the weakest monsters in the E Rank.
Leywin inwardly praised the students. Although they were assholes, he respected the amount of effort they put into their training.
Boom!
An explosion resounded from the location where the professors were.
Leywin and the other students looked over, and what they saw made their spines grow cold.
All the professors were laying on the ground unconscious beside Professor Martha. She seemed to be standing on her last legs but there was a smile on her bloody and pale face.
[ICE METEORITE]
She screamed towards the roof of the cave.
A giant ball of ice started forming above the area. The ice ball kept getting bigger and bigger until it was the size of two houses.
Luckily, there was enough space in the cave, or unless the imps won't be the only ones that would be hit by the giant ice ball.
"Fall, " Professor Martha whispered. Although it was a whisper, everyone heard it because of the silence that permeated the cave.
The Dark-Green Variant Imp watched the meteorite fall with astonishment and fear in its eyes. It was acting like a child; it could sense how dangerous the meteorite was but it was too infatuated with how shiny the ball was.
As the Ice Meteorite fell, some students ran away from the ice attack, they didn't want to get caught in the attack or it's shockwaves.
Leywin stood at the same spot, he was dazed. An idea entered his head and he couldn't get it out.
"F*ck it!" Leywin said as his eyes turned resolute.
Leywin lifted the Fiendgod Sword above his head and activated [Fiendgod Combat Mode]. His crimson hair started to glow and his golden eyes flickered with a red gleam. Then he slashed out six times toward the Dark-Green Imp.
