The atmosphere of the spacious conference room was tense and stressful. Senior Officer Gon did not even dare to take his deep breaths and other employees tensed up their body as they focused on the files they were holding, preparing their speech of report.
Naina took a peep at the man sitting on the master seat. She couldn't help but notice how attractive he looked in his intensed state. He was even looking more than attractive as he worked.
His vibe was simply too strong!
In next moment she startled little bit and downcast her gaze quickly with an embarrassed look on her face when she met his gaze.
The conference room was thrown into deadly silence, everyone is waiting for Shyam final remark. Naina felt slightly intimidated by the way he drummed his index and middle fingers on the table as he picked up the papers again and turned to the pages with the big figure.
"The standard for performance appraisal needs to be improved". Shyam remarked. When he was done with his words, he rose from his seat. He stood tall and Naina found herself craning her neck to look at him.
Massaging her temples, Perry sighed. "I'll lose all my brain cells this way."
Looking at Perry who was breaking into a cold sweat, Naina smirked. "Cheer up! I will make coffee for you".
Grabbing Naina's hand, Perry started swirling around, squealing in excitement. "Thank you. You are the one who loved me".

Naina straightened herself as walked towards Shyam's office.
"Come in" His voice came from inside the office.
Slowly she pushed the door and weaved her way into the office. Shyam lifted his eyes to see her.
"Director, The review file" She said politely as she handed the file to him.
Flipping through the papers, Shyam was slightly baffled by what she had done. Every single important point discussed in the meeting was highlighted by her.
"Hmm... Give one copy to Assistant Conel".
"Okay" Naina replied.
"Alright. You can leave now and carry on with your work" Shyam added in gentle voice. Shyam lifted his brows when Naina stood fixed with an oblivious expression like she didn't understood what he was saying.
Naina straightened her back before she asked slowly, "Director, Your hand still hurt?". Her eyes fixed on Shyam's injured wrist.
"No...I am good". Shyam gently waved his hand.
Naina paused for a moment and bowed down slightly before she made her way out.
All of a sudden, the sound of a glass clattering back onto the desk rang out, followed by Shyam's groaned in pain.
Naina halted her steps, slowly spun around and walked back. She inhaled deeply, a glimmer of guilt flashing across her eyes as she stared at the man who is struggling with his ties.
Shyam frowned unhappily. He looked up at her; his hands stopped in motion. "What's wrong?" Shyam asked.
Naina hesitated for a while and said, "Let me fix your tie, your necktie is crooked."
Pursing her lips, she closed the distance between them a little and then fixed his tie gently. Given the close proximity of the duo, Shyam's heart raced a little as he stared at the fair face of Naina.
She then looked up at him, her eyes smiley.
"I've finished." Naina took a step back without noticing the gaze that was aimed to her.
"Thank you". Shyam tore a gentle smile.
Her eyes grew unfocused from his smile but she was fast to hold her expression.
Shyam's gaze lingered on the door a bit longer even after she had gone out. 'This little girl is messing with my head.' He thought to himself.
"Heart-thumping moments! Women need to have a moment Heart-thumping movements". Shyam covered his mouth that had quirked to a smile.
