As Naina watched her friend chatting with Shyam in friendly manner with her hand gestures and dramatic facial expressions, Naina thought about stuffing her mouth shut.
"Naina, Why are you so quiet?" She felt Jasmi nudge her by the side and she bit her tongue hard, before lifting up her head with a fake smile.
Then she grabbed the glass of water on the table and emptied it. Naina has lost her some peace of mind since he said those words to her. She convinced herself not to take his confession seriously. But she couldn't easily brushed it off. It was as if his words were on in her mind.
Naina excused herself to use the toilet. Naina stood in front of the mirror in the restroom.
"Jasmi! Jasmi! I need to cut her throat tonight". Naina cussed her loudly. She took a deep breath and brushed through her hair with her hand and walked to the door.
She had only taken a step out of the restroom, when her eyes suddenly caught the person leaning on the wall opposite the restroom door. Naina was beyond shock to have found Shyam waiting outside the rest room.
"What is he doing here?" She screamed in her head. Shyam looked at her intensely as she stood in front of the door. Naina was becoming uncomfortable with his intense gaze on her.
Shyam frowned when he saw Naina rush out like a gust of wind.
"Slm Naina" He roared.
Naina slowly turned around and face him. She subconsciously took a step back when Shyam took a step towards her.
"Don't think you can run away like you did yesterday?" Shyam said in a low tone. Naina blinked her eyes rapidly when she heard those words from him. She could see the dark look in his eyes and it wasn't nice at all.
Shyam narrowed his brows at her, "Slm Naina, You don't dislike me, right?"
"Huh...?" Naina cocked her head in side.
Shyam studied her intendly for a moment. "Answer me! You don't dislike me, right?" Shyam demanded.
"Of course....I don't dislike you" Naina answered.
"Naina" He called out in a low and dangerous tone. "I am sorry if I made you uncomfortable" Shyam apologized.
Shyam couldn't help but take a step closer, covering the space between them. This close proximity was making her heart go wild, beating like a drumming box.
"I don't expect you to like me back. It's just..I just couldn't stay away from you. Just Let me show you how I feel for you." His words made her mind was hazy.
From the look in his eyes and the way he stared at her and said those words, Naina had a feeling that Shyam was being honest with his words.
Naina sighed with a bitter smile and said, "Sorry Director! I just want our relationship as a boss and a employee." She neatly make a line between them.
Shyam rubbed his forehead, he looked defeated as he watched her back.

Shyam quietly flips the meat and seems enjoyed himself placing the meat on the grill plate.
"He has a nice personality!" Jasmi, who observes him silently grumbled in her head.
Naina raise her head in surprise when he placed the meat on her plate.
"Director, I'm fine already. You should eat now". Naina was careful not to stammer her words.
"Yes, Director. You should eat now. Our Naina doesn't eat like meat that much". Jasmi added.
"Then tell me what your friend like" He asked as he took a quick glance at Naina.
Naina's eyes almost fell out of it's socket because they were fully widened. Her face palmed. Didn't she just make things clear with him now?
A smile formed on Jasmi's lips. "Director Ryu Shyam, Are you into my friend?"
Naina sneakily pulled at Jasmi's clothes and hushed her with her eyes.
Shyam eyesight is warm, he looks at her, "Yes, But it's unfortunate that your friend already rejected me" Shyam spoke, making Naina choke on the water she was about to gulp down.
