"Did you guys think that we need an intern in our office?" Perry glanced at the hill-like packed files upon Lili's desk with worry.
"Of course! I need one hand to note down all the documents." John replied like a storm.
"What's your point, Officer Gon?" Perry said moving her chair to the most senior employee of the Director's office. Senior Gon focused on his screen, not bothering with her question.
Perry twitched her lips and moved her chair to the office genius. "I don't have feeling to talk with you right now." Lili said flatly before Perry opened her mouth.
"Such a bore!" Perry quipped.
Hardin pushed the door of the office with Naina behind him. "This is Slm Naina and she'll be working with you from today" Hardin announced as soon as they walked into the vast office space.
Naina took a step forward and bowed, "I'm Slm Naina and I'll be working with you. Please take care of me".
----------
Hardin knocked the door lightly and pushed the door when he heard a voice say, "Come in".
Naina entered the office, chanting wish to herself. She saw that her big boss was sitting at the center of the room with his phone in his hand. Her breath hitched as he lifted his head to look at her.
"The last guy!" Naina mind currently met a very high hills now jump to shambles.
"Why him...?" Naina cried in her mind. Naina, who has been standing in a daze was startled by the sound of closing the door. She then realized that there were only two of them in the room.
Shyam brushed his eyes over to Naina and sat back to his desk after taking the document he needed.
Feigning her confidence, she then flashed him a smile, "Director Ryu! I am Slm Naina. I joined your office as an intern today".
Crossing his legs, he placed the documents down.
"Slm Naina, I believe you could study your job in a week, don't you?" Shyam said it with unchanging seriousness.
"Yes. Of course, I will do my best." Naina replied. She quickly evaded his eyes not wanting to see his expression.
"That's it, you can go now." Shyam replied.
Naina quickly turned away. But before she raised a single step away from her spot, Shyam suddenly said, "But you dislike your boss. That's the problem!"
Naina jolted when she heard his words and turned her head hesitantly. "As Expected!" Naina rolled her eyes inwardly.
------
"I don't really mean those words. How can I dislike my boss? It's an honour to work with you" Naina hastily praised him with an awkward smile.
"Are you saying that you don't mean those words?" Shyam asked in different tone.
"That's true." Naina rested her business smile.
Shyam was amused at her frightened look. He gave her a look over as he recalled the day how she flipped the shoulders of a man.
"Hmmm..." Now a grin was appearing in Shyam's face. He inclined his head and said, "Please refill my coffee".
Naina swept her eyes to the cup beside his left hand and walked forward. After retrieving the cup safely, she flashed a smile, "I will do my best."
Sitting in his office, Shyam placed his hand on the side of his desk, tapping in a rhythm to gaze at his door office before shifting his sight back to his computer.
By the time Naina exited the office, Perry saw the coffeecup on her hand. "Hi! I am Perry." She then swept her hair to the side swiftly and asked, "Are you attracted by our Director's look?"
"Him..?" Naina asked dismissively.
"He has a great career and a handsome face. But that comes with a price. He has a strange temper." Perry said.
Naina who had been marking weird wrinkles between her brows smoothened her expression.
"Really!" Naina replied in surface.
Perry lofted a brow and spoke, "Moreover, He is not a person whom we should dream about."
"Oh." Naina gave her agreement with a nod.
