Derek lies sprawled, unconscious, a faint trickle of blood escaping from the corner of his mouth. Nearby, Leveque and Ulrich groan as they stagger to their feet, each movement punctuated by winces of pain.
Gerard stands a short distance away, his face twisted into a sneer. He watches the two men with cold disdain before issuing a curt command. "Take the mutt to the car."
Leveque nods, moving to obey, but pauses as Gerard's phone vibrates in his pocket. Gerard's eyes narrow as he reads the message: Isabelle Lightwood is coming their way.
A shadow crosses Gerard's face. He knows the weight of the name. Isabelle Lightwood—renowned, feared, a disciple of Alexander Raziel. And without his shadow hunter powers, he stands no chance against her, nor do Leveque and Ulrich.
"Leave him," Gerard snaps, urgency lacing his voice. "We have to leave now. They're coming."
Gerard turning sharply, his coat swirling around him.Leveque and Ulrich exchanging a glance, then following without hesitation.
The sound of a car engine roars to life, tires screeching as the vehicle speeds away, leaving Derek alone.
Isabelle Lightwood arrives, her figure a silhouette against the moonlight. Her phone rings—Alexander. His voice is a quiet urgency, a warning that something is amiss. Without hesitation, she moves swiftly towards the mansion.
Isabelle moves with purpose, her eyes scanning the area as she enters the room. She sees Derek, motionless on the floor, and her heart quickens. Kneeling beside him, she checks his vitals, relief flooding through her as she confirms he's alive, merely unconscious.
She activates a rune on her arm, its light illuminating her face as translucent figures begin to materialize in her vision—phantoms of the past battle. Derek, valiantly fighting against three shadowy opponents.
Her expression hardens, recognition dawning. She's seen these figures before, their images burned into the Shadow Hunters' blacklist.
Alexander knew today was parents teachers conference, Chris and Victoria went to meet the teachers while Alexander noticed neither Scott nor Allison was present at the school.
As Alexander's fingers, calloused yet steady, extract a single cigarette from a crumpled pack. He places it between his lips with a practiced motion, the unlit end bouncing slightly as he breathes.
In his other hand, he produces a brass Zippo lighter, its surface adorned with intricate, swirling engravings that catch the faint light. The St. Benedict medal is inlaid on each side, its presence both ominous and reassuring. Along one edge, the Latin phrase "FIAT IUSTITIA, ET PEREAT MUNDUS" glimmers, the words a silent vow in the darkness.
His expression is calm, eyes shadowed but focused. He flicks the lighter open with a metallic click, a small flame bursting to life, casting a warm glow over his face.
The flame dances eagerly, reflecting in his eyes as he raises it to the cigarette, igniting the tip with a quiet hiss. He snaps the lighter shut, extinguishing the flame with a sharp clink, the sound echoing off the alley walls.
Alexander takes a slow drag, the tip of the cigarette glowing bright in the dimness. He exhales, releasing a plume of smoke that curls upward, merging with the mist. The smoke drifts, coiling and twisting, a ghostly presence that lingers in the air before dissolving.
His gaze is fixed, resolute, as the smoke veils his face for a moment, adding an enigmatic shroud to his expression.
Lydia wlaked to his side. As Alexander questioned."Did you see Scott or Alison?"
Lydia frowned and answered."No, I remember Alison messaging me how she was not feeling well. While I have no idea about Scott."
Just then he saw Allison pulling into the school parking lot. As they park, Melissa comes out of the school, leaving Scott another voicemail. He slinks down in his seat. Chris leaves a voicemail on Allison's phone telling her that answering her phone will make the terms of her grounding much easier. Melissa approaches the Argents and lets them know that Scott isn't answering his phone, either. Chris tells Melissa that Scott kidnapped his daughter, and she wants to know how they're sure it wasn't Allison's idea.
They were caught by there parents for skipping class.
Alexander muttered."They had to skip class especially when parents teacher meeting was happening."
Lydia couldn't help,but let put a chuckle.
Alexander found out Jackson was slightly cut by Derek claw, after the boy went aggressive and questioned Derek about what kind of drug he gave Scott. Derek annoyed pushed the boy into the lockers causing his claw to be inserted into Jackson's arm.
In the boys' locker room, Jackson checks on
the claw wounds on his arm, which are still red and raw. He starts getting ready but then sees two glowing red eyes in the cloud of steam in the shower. He starts to panic and falls back in fear, only to discover that the dots were from a set of headphones.
