Chapter 63 - Chapter 52

Alexander and Lydia were cruising down the boulevard in his 2011 Chevrolet Camaro SS, a vision of raw power and sleek design. The Camaro's prominent black grille, adorned with a large Chevrolet bowtie emblem at the center, led the way. Narrow, aggressive headlights with integrated LED halo rings cast a modern, piercing glare ahead, while the muscular hood, featuring a functional air scoop, hinted at the beastly performance beneath.

The lower front bumper, with its wide air intake and flanking fog lights, added to the car's imposing presence. As they glided past onlookers, the bold and sculpted body lines along the sides reflected the sun, accentuating the Camaro's dynamic appearance. Its bright yellow exterior, coupled with black racing stripes running from the hood over the roof and down the trunk, created a striking contrast, enhancing the sporty and aggressive aesthetic.

They pulled into the parking lot of the nearby C9 shop. The Camaro's powerful engine rumbled to a halt as Alexander turned off the ignition. He glanced at Lydia, who was sitting beside him with a content smile.

"So, notebook?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

Lydia's smile widened. "Yup," she replied, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Alexander stepped out of the car, the yellow Camaro. But he felt his Supernatural runes burn and light up,he knew Derek nor Scott is anywhere close. So Alpha.

Alexander removed his sleeved back revealing the Ten Rings, they are sturdy iron bands that are worn around the forearms, the rings appear to be made of a dark, dense metal that has a slightly rough, worn texture. Each ring is thick and heavy, with intricate carvings and symbols etched into their metallic surfaces, giving them an ancient and mystical look.

The engraving lit up with blue, purple energy. While an aura of blue and purple dim light running through the veins of his forearms.

The store is deserted, and a phone continues to ring in the background. lAs Jackson walks further into the store, Alexander knew the situation and was looking for the clerk and yelled,"Can somebody help me find The Notebook?" He glances around. No response. No one at the cash register. He continued,"Hello? Anybody working here? Anybody at all?" It seems there's not a single other person in the store. Turning back to the shelves, when he spots something... through the wire frame of the shelf, Alexander sees two shoes on the floor, toes pointed upward.

He slowly steps left. Inching around the corner of the shelf, he sees the two shoes and now just a bit of the legs. Someone is lying on the floor on the other side of the shelf, finally discovering-- The Clerk with throat slashed lies dead on the floor. Blood everywhere.

Alexander recognized the man as perpetrator of the Hale Mansion fire case.

Alexander suddenly saw the Alpha move blur, wires snapping with it as-- A spark flies from the light fixture. With an electric crackling, all of the lights flicker and die, plunging the store into-- darkness.

Alexander spots the Alpha in his bestial wolf, it is much more monstrous than most, as his eye sockets become hollow and darkened, and his skin becomes gray with his red glowing eyes glaring at him, the Alpha lunged at him.

He summoned the power of the Ten Rings, each one glowing with an intense, otherworldly blue energy.

With a swift motion, he shot the two rings as energy projectiles. Each ring traveled with incredible speed like missiles, leaving behind a dazzling trail of blue, purple, and transparent energy. That cut through the darkness like comets or shooting stars.

The rings struck the Alpha square in the chest, the impact creating a resounding boom that echoed across the room.

Upon impact, the rings release a concussive shockwave, sending ripples through the air and ground. The force is like a burst of blue energy, and the Alpha was sent flying back like ragdoll and crashing into the walls.

Alexander recalled the rings with a mere thought. They obeyed instantly, streaking back to him at the same incredible speed, their light trails retracing their paths back toto his forearms.

Without a moment's hesitation, Alexander extended five of his rings, forming an energy chain that snaked through the air with lethal precision. It wrapped around the neck of Alpha, tightening with a strangling grip. With a flick of his wrist, he flung the Alpha causing it to crash into the stands.

Alpha growled in pain, he knew this was it and rushed out.

The store's plate glass window explodes. Fragments shower the lot as a black shape hurtles past Alexander 's car. Lydia spins around with the camera phone still clutched in her hand, her wide eyes staring off through the window. lumbering.

The car door clicks open and Lydia reconized and shakily steps out and yelled out,"Alex..."

Inside the store, Alexander replied,"I am okay, but call the police."Lydia knew someone died and immediately dialled the police, while she steps past DVD cases strewn across the floor. She saw the man with his throat slashed.

While Sheriff Noah Stilinski drives as stiles searches through fast food bags and questioned Stiles,"Did they forget my curly fries?"

Stiles frowned and replied,"You're not supposed to eat fries. Especially the curly ones."

Noah with slight playful tone said,"I am carrying a lethal weapon. If I want the curly fries, I will have the curly fries."

Stiles rolled his eyes and said,"If you think getting rid of contractions in your sentences makes your argument any more legitimate, you are wrong." Before Stilinski can respond, the radio buzzes to life."Unit One, do you copy?"

Father and son reach for the CB at the same instant, hands knocking into each other. Stilinski throws a look.

Stiles gave small smile and said,"Force of habit."

Noah Stilinski sighed and replied into radio," Unit One, copy."

Dispatch voiced through the radio,"Got a report of a possible 187."

Stiles looks up while stuffing a handful of his father's fries into his mouth. He knows exactly what a 187 is.

Stiles muttered,"A murder?"

Lights flashing, Stilinski's car roars into the lot, pulling up next to two other Deputy Sheriff cruisers. Noah stilinski turns to his son."Stay here." He hurries out to confer with his Deputies.

Stiles sits impatiently while taking in the store's shattered window, the knocked over shelves and... Lydia and Alexander being led out. Stiles muttered,"No. Way."

Noah Stilinski turns from a crowd of bystanders to his Deputies."Get this place locked off."

Alexander saw Stiles and gestured him to meet up later, Stiles nodded.

Noah talked with Alexander, who explained half truth about the situation and told him about the beast, Noah was suspicious until the deputies told him the street camera did get a video of giant beast in blur. Noah was suprised and muttered,"I will talk with you more in your home."

Alexander nodded and replied,"I will."

While Alexander spotted Scott and Derek on the roof. Derek gave Alexander a nod, while Scott was looking at dead body of the video shop employee being lifted and entered into the ambulance.

Scott peers over the ledge. Turning back he slumps down as Derek comes forward." Starting to get it?"

Scott frowned and replied,"I get that he's killing people with some connections to Hale fire. But this isn't standard practice, right? We don't just go out in the middle of the night murdering everyone, do we?"

Derek shook his head and replied,"No. We're predators but we don't have to be."

Scott nodded.

Derek spoke up,"We have to meet with Alexander to get more details."
