Chereads / Let Love Choose / Chapter 19 - 18

Chapter 19 - 18

"We were told to look for a province to study what is special about a province. I think North Sumatra is quite interesting for us to study. In Bali, everyone already knows that there are many beautiful beaches there. The rituals too. But in North Sumatra, few people know about the beauty of the province," explained Bella. "There are many destinations that the community doesn't know about. Starting from Lake Toba, Si Piso Piso Waterfall, and many more. Later we will develop the history of Lake Toba. Traditional clothes, traditional dances, and folk songs are also interesting. Moreover, the special food, we can introduce Bika Ambon or Putu Bamboo Cake. Why is it called Bika Ambon when it's from Medan not from Ambon."

"The idea is a village, just like the people," said Salsha in her trademark style.

Now Aldi turned to look at Dinda who had been stunned to see him. "If you are, Din. Why did you choose Maluku?"

Dinda realized and immediately straightened her body. She scratched his head nonchalantly. "I don't know, just go with it."

Aldi sighed. Since then, Dinda just looked at him and did not listen to what he said.

"So we just have to choose between the provinces of Bali and North Sumatra." Aldi turned to look at Salsha and Bella alternately. "Just vote, okay?"

Salsha and Bella nodded in agreement. "What if the result is a draw?" she asked.

"Yes, you proposed the privileges of the province you said."

"Troublesome," said Salsha. "Then what are you doing? The only one who was asked to propose was me?"

"I'm the chairman." Aldi prided himself. "You two have the idea."

"I swear, yes, it's complicated a group with you guys." Sasha is getting bored. "I choose my ideas."

"I chose Bella's idea," Aldi replied. Not because he doesn't like Salsha, but because Bella's idea is really good.

"So 2:1," Aldi looked at Dinda. "If Dinda chooses Bella, we will take the province of North Sumatra. If Dinda chooses Salsha, you propose first."

"I choose Aldi." Dinda stammered because she said the name wrong. "I mean, I agree with Aldi. I chose Bella's idea."

Salsha glared at Dinda for not choosing her idea. Dinda is her best friend, Dinda should have chosen her. "Din, you're crazy. I'm your friend, you should choose me."

"Sorry, Sha. But Bella's idea is interesting."

Salsha massaged her temples. It's great to have friends. While Aldi and Bella held back their laughter.

"So it's clear, right? We'll make the province of North Sumatra," said Aldi. "It's late, let's just finish the discussion. Tomorrow or the day after tomorrow we will continue again."

Lazy to argue, Salsha immediately tidied her things and left the table without saying a word.

"I'm going home too. Farel is already waiting in front of me," Bella said as she stood up.

"Be careful," said Aldi. Bella smiled and quickly left the place.

Now only Aldi and Dinda are in the cafe. The atmosphere was awkward. Moreover, Aldi feels uncomfortable alone with Dinda like this.

"Aldi, it's late. Can you take me home?" asked Dinda hopefully.

Aldi thought for a moment, there's nothing wrong with taking Dinda home. Especially since it was getting dark in the evening. Finally, Aldi nodded. "I can. But I'm going to the toilet for a while. You just wait outside."

Dinda nodded enthusiastically. Finally, there is an opportunity for him to be close to Aldi. Dinda certainly will not waste this opportunity

"Farell.."

Salsha called who had just stopped his motorbike right in front of the cafe. Farel took off his helmet and walked past Salsha.

"What are you doing here?" asked Sasha.

Farel did not answer the unimportant question. Farel was busy watching Bella who had just come out of the cafe. Bella glanced at Salsha and smiled at Farel.

"How long has it been here?" she asked.

Farrell shook his head. "Just arrived. Shall we go home now?"

Bella nodded excitedly. Once again Bella glanced at Salsha who was frozen in place. Farel held Bella's hand and pulled the girl to follow her to the motorbike. Then they both left leaving Salsha alone.

Salsha sighed, Her heart ached to see the man she loved close to another girl. After all, she was someone she hated the most. Sasha clenched her fists. Sasha will not give up just like that. As soon as possible, Salsha can destroy Bella and Farel's relationship.

"You're not home yet?" asked Dinda who had just come out of the cafe. Dinda looked ahead. It just rained. "Well, it's raining. You can go home with us."

"Our?" Salsha parrot.

"Yeah, we are." Bella nodded, smiling shyly. "I'm with Aldi."

"Are you going home with Aldi?" Sasha is shocked. She thought that Aldi would not respond to Dinda because the man already had a girlfriend. But in fact Aldi is a jerk playboy.

"Come on, Din." Aldi came out of the cafe and was surprised to see that Salsha was still there. "You're not home yet?"

"Rain," replied Salsha lazily.

"Just go home with us," offered Dinda. "Ald, you want to take Salsha home too. Too bad it's getting late, it's raining again."

"No!" said Sasha quickly.

"Looks like Salsha doesn't want to, okay?" Aldi doesn't want to force Salsha. It's up to the girl to come or not. "I'll take the car first in the parking lot."

After Aldi's death, Salsha sighed again. Taxis around here are very hard to find. Salsha might have to wait at least an hour to wait for a taxi.

"Are you sure Sha wants to wait for a taxi?"

Salsha suddenly hesitated, but even Salsha was lazy to go home with Aldi. But it seems this time Salsha has to give in. For safety and convenience.

"I'm coming, okay?"

Aldi comes in his car. Dinda and Salsha immediately got into the car. Of course, Dinda was in front, beside Aldi. Meanwhile, Salsha had to be willing to sit in the back alone.

Aldi glanced at Salsha from the rearview mirror while smiling mockingly. "Earlier, they were selling expensively, but they even asked to be delivered too."

"Aren't you happy?" replied Salsha angrily. "Come down me."

"Tch, what a shame!" Aldi teased while driving his car.

During the trip, Salsha was silent. Meanwhile, Dinda always looks for Aldi's attention. Dinda asked important things to things that are not important. It felt like Salsha wanted to cover their mouths to stop talking.

"So what's your hobby?" asked Dinda.

"I like playing basketball. It's the same as playing guitar," Aldi replied.

I've never heard him play guitar. Sasha thought.

"Can you sing?" asked Dinda enthusiastically.

"I can't do that." Aldi is humble. "Standard."

"You must be good at playing basketball. Why don't you play basketball at school?"

Aldi glanced at Dinda briefly. Actually lazy to serve the girl's question. "Just lazy now. I don't want to show you the game."

Aldi glanced at Salsha from the rearview mirror again. "Where's your house?"

"Take me first?" asked Sasha. Aldi should have taken Dinda first, then they both went home. If you have to take Salsha first, Aldi is even tired of going back.

Aldi nodded. "Where's your house?"

"On Senapati street number 23," replied Salsha annoyed. Aldi pretended not to know his house even though the man also lived there.

stupid. Sasha thought.
