A man is running down the street, and is repeatedly looking back as the streetlights above him are blowing out. He trips and struggles to get up, as fear is almost paralyzing him. Suddenly, a bolt of black energy strikes his legs rendering them useless. Then silence grips the dark night. The man pulls out a pistol and fires blindly into the dark.
"Where are you coward!" The man yells trying to scare off the mysterious thing in the dark, but fails when he starts to cry. Then a hooded man in a skeleton mask and black visor appears. He is walking towards the man. The man tries to aim the gun, but another black bolt destroys it.
"Who are you?" The man asks while trying to hold back tears.
"I am Dark Void reborn, Necrofade" The masked man replies right before ripping the life force from the man.
