'How did this happen?' Sergeant Micheal Connor thought to himself. Bullets cracking overhead.
"MICHEAL!" He could hear someone shouting his name, but he was focused on returning fire, and his thoughts. Occasionally the loud booming sound of a grenade would echo out, as well as the cracking echo of a bullet would reverberate in his head.
The dust and debris as those bullets hit his cover, raining down on him finally shook him from his thoughts.
"I THOUGHT THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A SWIFT HVT EXTRACTION! QUICK IN, QUICK OUT!" Connor shouted to be heard over the sound of battle.
"IT WAS! BUT WE GOT EXPOSED! THE MISSION IS A FAIL! I JUST GOT ORDERS TO WITHDRAW IMMEDIATELY! HVT ISN'T EVEN ON SITE!" First Sergeant Montgomery, who was in command of the squad, yelled back.
"FUCK!" Connor cursed as he fired off the rest of his mag whilst retreating. He quickly reloaded and started firing again. The rest of the team had already retreated safely while he covered them. Relief washed over him as he went to turn the corner, but a sudden pressure built up in his throat, along with a strange numbness.
"Blergk?" Connor tried to speak but only blood spewed. Connors team grabbed him and carried him to safety before attempting field first aid. Though he no longer could hear, he knew that his team was telling him to hang on. Connor began to feel like he was suffocating, his peripherals had become dark, and only saw through tunnel vision.
'Hah, so this is how it all ends? I guess I can sleep now... right?' Connor thought as he finally slipped into eternal slumber.
***
Not long after being embraced by darkness, sudden light, blinded Connor.
'I lived!' He thought as he adjusted to the light. It was candle light, which he found odd, but he figured the team just holed up somewhere remote until help could arrive. He attempted to sit up, but couldn't. So instead he grunted irritably, but it came out... squeaky? Whiney? A gurgle?
"Arsta pasaglad Aisrin!" Connor heard something incoherent from outside his vision.
'Okay, so I am somewhere remote. Perhaps a locals house?'
Soon a curvatious woman came into view.
'Oh, what a babe!'
"Darst frezd Aisrin? Comle yen graftaz?" The woman smiled and reached down for him. Her hands were huge!
'Damn! Tall and sexy? Hell yeah!'
The woman picked him up, like an infant. That's when it started to click.
'Wait? What!' For a moment, his hands came into view, only they weren't his hands. They were infant hands. When she popped her tit out and brought him to it, is when he fully grasped the situation. He was somehow, a baby!
'THAT MAKE NO SENSE!' He began to squirm.
"Aisrin, trastla! Yen cest bez jentka!" The woman soothed him, and it worked! He latched on and began to eat.
'Whatever, it's probably some dream. I am hungry though.' He calmly ate, and fell asleep.
*A few hours later*
"Aisrin? Pezdin blet fazdaa!" A man's voice woke him up. Connor opened his eyes and saw the redest hair he had ever seen.
'Theres a limit to how much dye you should use bro!'
"Istysu! Bon vasu Aisrin! Der feta hir fac yaz!" The woman haughtily scolded the man.
"Iri? But I'm his fazdaa!" For a brief few words, Connor understood the man. He pushed it aside and went back to sleep.
*A few months later*
A lot happened in the few months Connor, or Aisrin, as he was called, had been in the body of an infant. He learned that the curvy woman was his mother, Iri. A blonde woman of average height. A human.
The red head, who's color was vibrant as hell fire, was his father, Istysu. A Shadowkin Demon. He was also finally able to understand the language.
"Aisrin?" Iri called.
'Fuckin now what?' Iri came into view and picked him up. Once again popping her tit and feeding him.
'I'm not really that hungry! Its embarrassing enough to shit myself, but I've got to indignantly sit here while suckin on a titty? Though, not all that bad... if you weren't my mother at least!'
"Aisrin!" Istysu also came running into the room.
'And then theres this dude. Overwhelming father award goes to you pal. Oh well, back to sleep.' Aisrin yawned and passed out again.
*Two years later*
Aisrin sat surrounded by wooden toys, bored out of his mind.
"I hope this country has a decent military." Aisrin mumbled quietly.
"Aisrin? What's the matter baby?" Iri crouched next to him. his hair was black, speckled with bright red streaks.
"Nothing Mom. Just bored." He learned to speak fluently and coherently at a very fast rate, both alarming and pleasing his parents.
"Awe, my little genius." Iri would often say and then walk away.
"Hah, whatever." Aisrin stood up and waddled about the fairly large single story home. He wandered in and out of rooms before bumping into one of the young maids. A woman with green hair and big bulbous breasts.
'Hehehe, nice.' Aisrin looked at the womans breasts lustfully before moving on. The look did not go unnoticed by the maid, as she sighed and blamed his father.
'Works for me.' Aisrin shrugged. He continued on his path, unperturbed, looking for any form of entertainment. He peeked in on the servants quarters, only noticing Abrahm, the only butler, sitting at his small table, sipping tea.
"Hah, what a lovely aroma. A little cold though." He commented. He held the tea above his hand, and then, right before Aisrins unbelieving eyes, lit a fire in his palm!
"What!" Aisrin unwittingly exclaimed, startling the old butler.
"Oh heavens! Aisrin! How are you young chap? Interested in warmed tea?" The butler offered.
"Ahem. My apologies Abrahm. No, I'm not interested in your tea... but I am curious about the... fire?" Aisrin unhesitatingly asked.
"Hahaha! Interested in magic? At your age? Well I suppose it's not uncommon for children to show interest in the arcane. Shall I impart a simple spell that you may use? If you can, of course." Abrahm had always been Aisrins favorite person. He was a middle aged man with slicked back black hair with bits of grey. He even had the fantasy mustache to go along with the look, completing his fantasy butler style. Only the monocle was missing.
"If it kills boredom." Aisrin smiled giddily.
'Magic? Bullshit! It's probably just some simple trick with butane, flint and steel.'
Aisrin waddled over to Abrahm, sat down at his feet, and looked up.
"Hmm, I don't know what your affinities are, but let's start with the water element. I'm sure you've experienced the feeling of water, so I'll just have you focus on that. Now, close your eyes, and feel it... Now imagine any shape you wish. With that in mind, try to feel the mana around you, inside you... and put that into the image and the feeling." Abrahm instructed.
Aisrin did as he was told. Skeptical, and holding back laughter towards the old man's delusions. But he felt something. Something strange. Like a warm glow, flowing through out his body.
'Might as well humor the old fool.' Aisrin imagined that odd flow forming a ball of water in his right hand. Soon, his imagination played the trick of actually feeling water.
"By the heavens! Askarah bless me! Such a young age!" Abrahm gasped, causing Aisrin to open his eyes. What did he feel first? Shock? Excitement? Awe? Fear? All of it. Fear of the unknown. Awe for the miracle hovering in his hand. Excitement for the first time! But shock, as he knew this did not exist on earth.
"Where am I?" Was all Aisrin could say.
"Mistress! Sir! Come quick!" Abrahm called for Aisrins mother and father. Within moments the whole house came barreling in.
"What Abrahm? Aisrin!" Itsysu was the first to say something. Iri fell to her knees, tears streaming down her face.
"My little genius!" She said as she cried.
'I think this is going to be troubling.'
