Alise was one of the most beautiful girls I had ever seen. She had golden eyes which matched her swirly blond hair. She had a well defined stature and a very nice figure that would make any man fall head over heels for her. Alexander and her seemed to be on good terms as they both cracked jokes forgetting there was a child in the same room, waiting to be taught.
The aura that surrounded her seem calm and elusive. It was as if the wind fluttered everywhere with every action she took. Probably a wind manipulator, but yet, she looked very strong. I wouldn't know if Alexander was stronger because he was a master at concealing his presence and barely produced any aura. If only I hadn't been through the cultivation journey before, I would think that Alexander didn't possess any Qi at all.
Alise finally notices me, she turns and politely bows before me, maybe as a greeting. Why she does that, I do not know, especially considering my status but Alexander, as always, clears my doubt. "Lady Alise bowed as a show of good faith as your teacher, you should kinda, also..... you know....BOW!". I immediately do so realizing how awkward the situation is. 'Bowing', I'm not really used to it. Alexander places a hand on his forehead while shaking it, instead, Alise just giggles and leads him out of the room with a reassuring smile. I think I'm in good hands, but as soon as Alexander steps out of the room, she turns to me giving me a deadly grin, her eyes sharp as those of a fox. She starts to approach me gently, but I find myself moving backwards till I'm against the wall. She then giggles and says,"Are you ready to get stronger?".

I swing my blades around like a mad man in hope of desperately trying to scratch Alise. She's definitely not as fast as Alexander, but their speed matches that of his, if not almost the same. As I thought, her movements are just like Alexander's. They probably have the same technique, but it's almost impossible to trace without having the power of my mind or a dantian. She seems suprised that I'm able to slightly predict her movements, but I still can't land a finger on her. I decide to pick up the pace, she isn't Alexander, and I must make sure I leave a don't on her almost unbreakable body. My haphazard movements quicken rapidly, I use all the martial arts Alexander taught me and even the ones I learnt in my past life to corner her. Her eyes widen, not in shock, but with amazement. She's been able to follow all my movements right from the beginning, but her precision faltered when I managed to try and
Combine to simple martial arts. I didn't succeed, but I was very close and she had noticed that but it's too late my blades are already pointed at her stomach ready to stab it with its full force. I know I won't make a dent, but all I need is to touch her, just once. As I'm about to place my swords on her stomach, I notice that they suddenly freeze in place. No, not that, there's an invisible wall I can't get pass through. My blades are still Infront of her, inches away from her skin, I try pushing my blades farther, but I'm not able to land the blow. It takes my little brain sometime to realize that the wall stopping me isn't really invisible, but infact air, my blades are being held back by a condensed little gale of wind. I don't even realize that I've already been flung away to the end of the training room. My back lands on the hard brick walls as I cough blood, but Alise still stands there unflinching. She's still fascinated by my previous offensive, not that it was too big of a deal, but due to the fact that I hadn't even developed my mind or gained a dantian when I tried combining the martial arts. I realize that she still isn't moving and I'm in a very bad shape so I snap her out of thoughts with my next line,"Uhh, can I get a healer?" As expected she snaps back to reality and walks towards me carrying me on her shoulder. She's very strong for someone of her stature but I'm not suprised, a cultivators strength isn't measured in size or build, apart from Kirin, one of the strongest cultivators I ever faced was a very short man who looked like a young adolescent, but was over two millennia in age and had indisputable power. I won obviously, but he put up a good fight.
"You're quite skilled for a boy without a dantian. I wonder what else you're hiding under this small body of yours". I just roll my eyes, it's not like she'll figure out I reincarnated."Do you mind going easier next time, I do want to live and I very much mind dying", 'Not again at least', but I say that part in the deepest parts of my mind, Incase she has some sort of ability to read thoughts, cultivators are all full of suprises.
One minute were outside the training room, directly at the entrance. The next, there's a huge gale of wind and then we're back at the infirmary. Alise just flew me towards the other side of the courtyard, and she seems as though she didn't even use any energy in the process. She gently lays me down on when of the beds, and then the healers start their work. First by readjusting my spine to fixing my broken bones and worn out or torn muscles. A few minutes later, I without even a single scratch. The healers instantly bow towards Alise when they're finished. It seems she has a very high position even among the royal family. I can walk by myself this time and Alise just flutters away but before she leaves, she hands me a paper wrapped in brown paper and knoted with a designed roped which had the main family emblem on it's crest. I open it gently and on removing the brown paper, I notice a sheet rolled neatly and had some markings on its surface. I instantly notice what it meant, I've
seen and used it before in my past life. It's an inscribed scroll, which is meant to help me enlarge my mind. With this, I'll be able to store techniques, martial arts and even spells and inscribed methods. It will also be easier to find out the conditions to awaken my dantian. "Alexander said it might help in awakening your dantian, take good care of it, guards would kill to get there hands on one of these". And with that, she disappears, but I don't bother searching for her. I have to finally begin the actual journey of this cultivation world.
I head back to our quaters. My father is supposedly still on one of his shifts, and my mother recently continued her job as a maid in the main branch of the royal family, so I was left at home all alone. Just exactly what I need to get started on my mind growth.
After my quick bath, I settle down in my room locking the door behind me. The scroll is in my hands, and I don't hesitate to open it.
