I was watching function of Tilak. It is mainly for groom. But I really wanted to watch it. So here I'm watching it from window.
Aarav and his siblings very looking at every function with an aww expression. I know they never attended a marriage function this closely before .
Right now I'm wearing a navy blue saree for Ganesh puja. This ritual will be done by both bride and groom. Though this puja is performed when they both are going to get married but they also pray to God for blessing them for the coming life.
He was wearing traditional attire. I must say he was looking very handsome. We were praying and the priest was chanting mantras.
"You are looking beautiful " Aarav whispered in my ear. I looked at him blushed a bit. " Is that by chance a blush on your cheeks ".
I looked at him shying and said " Concentrate on puja. " He chuckle " You can avoid my question right now but what will you do after we get married then you have to answer my all questions " He said with his famous smirk.
I just rolled my eyes at him. "Did you just rolled your eyes at me " He asked with raising his right eyebrow. " Yeah so what. Not a big deal " I said shrugging.
" Well that's shows sign of disrespect. And I hope this is last time you are rolling your eyes at me. Because if you do this again there will be consequences " he said with the mischievous glint.
"Now take blessing of your parents and family members " priest said. We took their blessing, we didn't even got time to talk, my friends and cousin just dragged me to my room.
God these makeup artists are torturing me and my poor hair are getting burned by straightner and curler.
" Miss now you can wear your dress" she said. Thank god this is over now . I was wearing Bollywood Style Cream Color Heavy Embroidery Work Lehenga Choli . The makeup artists did a good job. I was feeling like a really princess.
" My my girl you look beautiful in this dress " Meera said. "Yeah my soon to be sister-in-law my brother will surely have hard time to control himself " Riddhima said and i blushing like anything.
"omg are you blushing, guys this is a news so now Ms Tara mittal is blushing ha" meera said. God these girls .
"Let's go Tara I don't want my brother to wait for her soon to bride anymore " Riddhima said. I was just about to reach the hall and there was manik my bade papa's ( uncle) son. What is he doing here we didn't invite him here.
"Come Tara what are thinking " Meera said. Maybe dad invited him doesn't matters. Hall was decorated with the pure authentic style with the hint of discotheque.
Aarav was talking to some of the businessman. I didn't want to interrupt " I will be there in a minute " I said. " Where are you going right now the function is goona start now " meera said. " Yeah we are already late, let's go " riddhima said.
" You both go I just want to use restroom " I said. "ok fine I will come with you " meera said. " No it's ok i will be fine " I said. " Are you sure ?" Riddhima asked. " Yeah yeah you both go " I said.
I was just touching up my makeup. Wiping sweat of my forehead. I was about to leave when and I saw there was something that was shining. I went close to have a better look. There was a Pendrive with a some diamond chain attached to it. I think I know to whom this Pendrive belongs to.
Manik had the same Pendrive. He brought this Pendrive in one of the meeting when dad's and nikhil uncle's company were working together.
How can his Pendrive came in ladies washroom. I took the Pendrive and went out. " What how could you misplace it " I heard someone shouting. I went near . " I'm sorry I know that was important but I don't know where I kept it " this voice sounded of female.
" Do you even know how important that Pendrive was, just because of your carelessness all our plan will be flopped, now why are staring at my face go find it " Maybe they are talking about this Pendrive.
I tried to look at the person but they were gone by that time. I'm not sure if that was manik Or not but im 100% sure that this Pendrive belongs to manik.
" Tara Tara where are you? " came a voice. " What are doing here everyone is waiting for you especially your husband o sorry soon to be husband come " Meera said.
I smiled and went with her. When we entered hall . Aarav was looking very worried. " God Tara where were you. I mean riddhima told me that went to rest room but you took so long " Aarav said.
" Don't worry I'm fine and when I came to hall you busy talking to some businessman so I didn't wanted to disturb you " I said.
" Listen Tara no one is more important than you . If you want to go somewhere just inform me so that I know that you are save " Aarav said as his golden brown eyes darken.
" Fine now you don't need to worry come let's go " I said. " Now every one attention please here comes our bride and groom, give them a huge round of applause" Riddhima said . Everyone clapped and hooted.
We went and sat together on a huge royal couch. "So guys as our couple of the day has came let's start our function " Riddhima said.
"So here we have this bowl and we have made some chits which have name of the person and his/her song on which they are goona dance. And here my brother and sweet soon to be bhabhi ( sister-in-law) are goona pick the chits. so everyone ready for some fun " Rishi said.
Everyone clapped. " No no guys I can't here your voice. Are you ready to have some fun " He said again. Everyone clapped and shouted yes and some even hooted and whistled .
They gave us bowl . So let's find who is first. I picked one chit and gave it to Rishi. " So the first couple is, is.... " Rishi said. " Rishi stop with this suspence tell us already " Riddhima said.
" Fine so first couple is Rajvansh uncle and Manyata aunty " O god dad is goona dance, well i know that dad can't dance but this is new. My eyes were big as soccer ball.
