Both Maya and uncle Stan started to move towards the cave. The more Maya moved forward towards the cave the more she started to feel excited.
The movement she stepped into the cave she started to glow like the sun after a while the brightness around her started to recede.
Uncle Stan was wide eyed the entire time until the brightness receded and Maya returned to normal. Even then it took some time for him to come around the whole ordeal that has happened so far.
When Maya turned around only to see that uncle Stan was staring at herself like he found a hidden treasure with his eyes shining like the stars.
" Hmm, uncle Stan can you stop looking at me like that ok ".
"Didn't I tell you that you might be the heir? what did you say and see now what happened" replied uncle Stan with a hint of gloating.
"Yes and you don't have to gloat uncle, now if you don't mind let's move further".
"Humph, fine let's go and I can't wait to see what's gonna happen next".
They stopped talking and both of them Started to move forward. After a while they came across a golden door with a picture of a glowing bird. What's more shocking is that it resembles of her birthmark on the left side of her chest snapping out of her stupor she went forward.
She felt a pull towards the door and moved towards and touched it. As soon as she touched the door it gave a faint rumble and was opened from inside with a binding light surrounding the room.
Both Maya and uncle Stan closed their eyes cause of the brightness that binded them. After the brightness receded they went inside that room.
The room was surrounded by various treasure like gold coins, ornaments and the like. In the centre of the room there was an oval shaped golden egg with various gems inlaid in it.
Maya started to move near that egg when she felt the feeling of excitement the egg gave of.
As Maya went near the egg she couldn't take her eyes of it and she saw a golden sceptre with a similar design that was on the shell of the egg. And she felt a pull towards both the egg and tha sceptre.
While she felt the excitement from the egg the sceptre gave her the feeling of finally returning home after long period of time. As soon as Maya touched the sceptre it glowed like the sun radiating full of power.
When she took a closer look the sceptre had the same symbol that was seen on the door. She took the egg as she felt the egg calling out for her to take it as well.
After a while both Maya and uncle Stan left the cave with one golden egg and a sceptre.
Uncle Stan hadn't said anything from when both of them entered the room to till now. She left him to his thoughts for a while as she had to process what has happened there as well.
