"So how did I get into this mess. And you should be helping shouldn't you." I said
screaming as I ran as fast as I could from a greater spirit class malanial
called snow hounds individually. There were 15 of them. In a group, they were
considered to be duke class.
"You can do it just shoot them in the head," Issvar said laughing at me
"I need to create a distance first," I thought "it would have been easier if I was
in a normal place. But I am in a snow tundra right now I don't have a proper foothold
thanks to all the snow and ice. And most of my bounding force is being used
making proper protection from this cold weather" I thought
(A few days ago)
(Day 1)
"So the safe zone is just a platform above the ground from the looks of things"

"So it seems," Jason said
"So listen up a proper instructor has been assigned for you students. So take this
opportunity to learn as much as you can" a teacher said wait isn't he our
close-combat teacher Regard Crono
"That's all good but why are you here you use a spear, don't you? There isn't a single
person in our team that uses a spear" Charlotte said and we all nodded in
agreement
"That's true but I also conveniently happen to have a Battleax type spirit. Tho I was
trained with a spear since a child. But fortunately, it was the kind with a long
handle and a spearhead on top of the main blade so I was chosen as Jason's
instructor" instructor regard clarified
"Is that so?" Jason said
"For now except for Angelica and Adam, Everyone else will be training in the danger
zone near the safe zone. Since the stronger monster comes out during nights
which are mostly of general and war class but there are exceptions, likewise
the strongest individual monster in this place during the day is of duke class.
But in a group they can reach up to war class" Caren said
"Now ten without further let's start this camp," Issvar said
(Now back to the present, 3 days have passed since then. First, my instructor who is
Issvar taught me how to properly use my bow. Apparently, every divine weapon has
modes of short. For the divine bow of destruction, they were divided into 4 they
were:-
1. Normal mode--> where there is the use
of normal arrow but it's not as powerful as others. So it is mostly used for
small fries
2. Burst mode--> where there is the use of arrows made from Fire magic where it explodes upon contact. These arrows are created by pouring magic in the Bow so they are slower than arrows but faster than a fire magic spear in terms of launch time, but the destruction was on a different level.
3. Pursuit mode--> where there is the use of arrows made from pure mana will be shot it will always hit its mark if
sufficient mana is provided it will ignore all obstacles in between.
4. True bow of destruction mode-->the strongest and most lethal mode there is. It is nothing but pure destructive
force but It comes with a huge drawback and that is it requires a lot of mana and if the mana isn't sufficient energy then it drains the user's life force but this mode is only in the original and primordial bows, the retainer bow has no
any such mode
My instructor Issvar told me that the elf that killed the chief of giants and also
destroying a mountain rage consumed more than half of his remaining lifespan
to compensate for the destructive nature.
Sigh I hope I never have to use it)
"I finally got away," I said as I managed to escape from that predicament. It is
about noon right now let's just look for smaller prey
"Now-now for today you will learn pursuit mode and for the next two days, you will be
going to the other side of this realm. Then on the last day, there is the
survival part with all of you combined" Issvar said
"Yes sir," I said
"First thing first, the most important thing to remember in the pursuit arrow is
imagination, properly imagine your destination and launch it. the [bow of
destruction] will learn it and take the sufficient amount of mana needed and
create an arrow of pure mana and follow through the eyes" he said
"Then shall we," Issvar said as we went a bit forward to a place filled with trees
"Let me show you first," Issvar said so and his original bow glows in a bluish tint
and he an arrow of pure mana is created. Then he shot it, the arrow ignored all
the trees and hit a mark put on the bolder
"It's something like that try using it," Issvar said
"I'll try my best," I said
"Then I will live you to it," Issvar said and he left that place
(I started to practice it. It was quite difficult to use. I had specifically three
problems I was facing
1. It was hard to imagine
2. It was consuming a lot of my energy
3. And finally it takes a lot of time to form
But they will all improve after time and practice)
"You seem to get the jest of it seems," Issvar said when he returned
"Yes mostly," I said
"Then shall we move to the safe zone," Issvar said
"Ooh (yes)" I said
The safe zone is kind of hard to reach. Since it is on a floating island, and the only way to reach is by using a teleportation formation which opens for a fixed period of time every hour, at a different point and it also has a weight limit or something, we know the point because of a tag that is needed to pass from the formation everything else is expelled to the void and destroyed. When we reach the point it was quite dark
"You guys are the last on here," Charlotte said
"Sorry about that we went a bit deep in the forest," I said
"well, that's all good and all. But you shouldn't keep your GIRLFRIEND waiting for you
know SHE was very much worried" charlotte teased
"Charlotte I said not to talk about me being worried," angelica said
"So you are dating as I suspected," Jason said
"No, we are not," Angelica and I said at the same time
"Anyways where is my brother," I asked
"He was here a bit ago looks like he disappeared today too," Adam said
"Again," Issvar said
"Caren did follow him. They are not back yet" Adam continued
"If my guess is right then he should be back by dinner," I said
"Well then shall we prepare for supper, like always we will let him clean up
after supper like for the last 3 days," charlotte said
"Well that's true," I said
So we prepared for supper. It was nothing special just ordinary Vegetable soup,
snow blood rabbit and inferno lizards for meat and also hard bread which can be
preserved for a long time
"So is supper prepared" the voice of my brother came from our back
"Where have you been and where's that Caren" Issvar asked
"I am right here" Caren voice came from behind
"There you are and why are looking so dark," Issvar said
"I got a rival," she said
"What does that mean," Issvar asked
"You won't know," Caren said chewing her nail
"…" Issvar
"Now-Now for now shall we eat" Adam
"Yes it's fine for now" Issvar gave up
So we ate our supper and my brother cleaned up the rest
"It's too hot" I complained
"I said to control your energy didn't I," Issvar said
"It's easier said than done" I complained
"you better get good soon then," Issvar said
"So what are we doing today," I asked
"Two things, number one being improving your control. And second is A new mode"
Issvar said
"I got the first thing but I don't get the second thing" I inquired
"As I said before there are 4 modes or 4 ways to use the [bow of destruction] but I
never said that there's only 4" he said
"!?" sieg
"in simple terms the 4 modes I showed you are like defalts that every former and new user
could use. But there are also personal modes. For example" Issvar said as he
pulled his bow a an arrow was created with an golden tint then he shot it
forward towards some magma golem the single arrow shot cloned itself to
1->2->4->8 and penetrated the 8 golems in front of us
"One of my personal modes cloning pursuit arrows," Issvar said
"… That was seriously cool" I said
"For now on try to create your own personal arrows," Issvar said
"Ooh," I said
"Try for yourself I will take care of the malanials that come close to us," he said
"Yes" I replied as he went to a high ground
(Then what should I do. I cant think of some thing cool though)
