Once Madlenkosi saw what happened a sudden thought hit him...
"Wouldn't these yin spirits also be made of heaven and earth qi?" His gaze swept across them as they burned within his golden flames.
Upon this thought, he began to channel his Chi of 3 Purities Technique as the Qi they gave off was purified and absorbed.
This caused a surge of heaven and earth qi as they were like rivers leading back to the source, while his aura began to rise exponentially.
Due to his Yang flames as well as the Chi of 3 Purities, the incoming influx of Qi was refined repeatedly first by Yang flames leaving somewhat pure heaven and earth Qi, while the Chi of 3 Purities repeatedly concentrated and purified the remainder.
Amidst the flames, a white halo-like glow emanated from his as he gorged himself on the Qi of the Yin Spirits as they dwindled.
The disciples of the bone blade sect were aghast at what they saw, as the numbers of Yin Spirits constantly dwindled.

His cultivation soon rose and was able to pass the breakthrough point into the early 9th layer but it didn't stop there, it continued to rise evermore!

Soon he focused inwardly as he pushed his Chi of 3 Purities Technique to constantly wash and convert the Qi into Chi.
When the Qi was concentrated inwards his Chi of 3 Purities began to build the first layer of his foundation.
The foundation building stage was the realm where a whirlpool of Qi was made to refine and purify the Qi as it may be changed and compressed into a core.
The Qi would form small sand-like crystal grains. They would spiral around a small central point as they accumulated into what would be a 'Mortal Core', which would be the next step in Qi cultivation.
Foundation Building is also called the foundational core stage. For every fold in size of the small crystal-like core, there would be a qualitative change to its color as well as the strength of the cultivator.
The 9 colored stages of the foundational core are:
Topaz Layer
Emerald Layer
Ivory Layer
Sapphire Layer
Violet Layer
Obsidian Layer
Scarlet Layer
Golden Layer
Platinum Layer
Though most would be able to enter the mortal core as soon as they entered the foundation building stage, they would only be seen as the weakest Topaz Mortal Core.
A foundational core could be found in many different forms and incarnations, whether it be weapons like saber or sword, flower, animal or even the form themselves, once it was made with their will infused into it and their beliefs in cultivation it could be made.
The more they knew about the form on which they made their core, the more powerful and detailed it would be. Not only would it increase their strength even more but each layer would also polish the details of the core.
Both Ning Xi and Ning Mei were at the first layer of Foundation Building with Topaz foundational cores in the form of marionettes, while Yuan Bo had a half Topaz, Half Emerald foundational Core.
This was due to him purifying 50% of his Topaz foundational core pushing him to Mid First Layer foundation building.

As the Chi of 3 Purities continued to concentrate within his abdomen he was able to picture what he wanted his foundational core to be...A Baobab Tree.
Only this tree he intimately knew as it was from his past world as well as it being inscribed into his heart after breaking through to the Heart Modification Realm.
The dantian contracted as the foundational core was beginning to be built.
Yuan Bo's eyes opened wide as he was shaken out his shock, "STOP HIM!!!" He shouted as he launched himself at Madlenkosi while being followed by the other outer disciples!
Ning Xi and Ning Mei both avoided their opponents as they sped towards Madlenkosi with their blades fully drawn to unleash their strongest attacks!
Yuan Bo and the other disciples similarly raised their sinister red bone blades as they swiped downwards leaving a scarlet crescent flying towards Madlenkosi.
His eyes snapped open as he smiled, his dantian was resonating with his heart, though he didn't know what this meant he could tell that it had benefits towards it.
His Baobab core glowed as it was detailedly formed while the Golden Boabab Tree on his heart blazed as his wounds healed and he grew a couple of inches before everyone's eyes his features becoming more ethereal and sharp.
His eyes now looked like a pure golden flame that would burn anything in its way, his eyebrows and hair was a pure golden color as they flickered in the flames, his sideburns flowed like a flame by his ears, his muscles became more toned and sleek while he now stood at 5'7''.
Upon laying eyes on his transformation they knew that he had broken into the foundation building realm, shedding the first layer of his mortal shell.

Madlenkosi breathed out as a turbid breath was released, and raised his head to see the incoming attacks.
Slowly raising his ivory staff above his head, he swung downwards!

As the blazing staff shadow fell a whirlwind was swept up as all the incoming attacks were deflected.
With a devious smirk on his face, Madlenkosi looked towards them as he said, "My turn, you sons of bitches..."
