As he made his way towards the large wooden gate, he placed down the beast as he knocked.
Madlenkosi hoped the people would be able to understand him and let him know where he was.
"Open the Gate!" The Village Head said.
All eyes landed on the village head.
"Nooo! Village Head we can't open the gate!" someone said.
"Yeah, we don't know what's out there!" another replied as more and more villagers agreed and echoed his statement.
The Village Head frowned as he said. " Regardless of what's out there, do you think a wooden gate would be able to stop something that has more strength than the Iron Horned Beast?" As he looked at the villagers he continued "The only thing staving off any demonic beast is the fact that we have a half-step mortal grade Shroud Formation rewarded to us by the Titan's Gate!"
Shen Xi addressed the villagers "The Village Head is right! The Shroud formation confuses low-rank demonic beasts! So whatever is outside must be a person!"
The Village Head nodded towards Shen Xi in thanks for helping with the rowdy crowd.
"Open the Gates!" The Village Head bellowed.
A loud creak, as well as the sounds of gears clicking, could be heard as the gates were opened.
A human figure came into view, covered in dark dried blood while dragging a beast over 3 times his size.
" Thank You for opening the gate for me," He said.
Everyone from the Village Head to the village children stared at him.
" Do they not understand me?" He thought to himself.
"Are you human?" The Village Head asked.
"Of course I am!" Madlenkosi was shocked by this question.
A village child looked at their parent and said "Mommy is he made of gold?" To which their parent replied, "I don't think so dear."
Everyone was confused by the color of his skin, a clean golden brown that looked untarnished by the mortal world.
"Eherm, I am The Village Head or you can refer to me as Elder Shen, what may we do for you?" The Village Head said after clearing his throat.
" I would like to find out where I am.." He replied.
The Village Head went on to explain to him.
This is the Shen family Village situated at the borders in the southern region of Zhàn Hún Continent, named GuangXi.
The Zhàn Hún Continent he was currently on was a vast and immeasurable landscape with a history spanning millennia.
The Zhàn Hùn Continent was split into 5 separate regions due to the Overlord forces there.
There were 3 Schools of the Righteous Path, namely The Dharma Sect in the southern area of the GuangXi, Snow Palace in the western area of YinNan, and Mt. Hua Sect in the central area of JiangXi. These Overlord sects sought to help humans and provide protection from the Multitude of Demonic Beasts.
There were also 2 Schools of the Unorthodox Path which sought to only help themselves and believed that the strong preying on the weak was the way the world should work.
These sects were The Immortal Demon Sect of TianJin in the east and The 9 Immortal Sect of ShangXi in the north.
The Righteous Path and Unorthodox Path were always at war with each other but the reason they have never been able to push the Unorthodox sects out of the Continent is due to The 9Immortal Sect and The Immortal Demon Sect having very close relations without the expectations of benefits.
Due to their cohesive partnership, The Righteous Path has always been foiled every time an intensive attack was launched.
...
The Village Head went on to explain about the sects and Cultivation at Madlenkosi's request.
There were 2 forms of Cultivation within the Zhàn Hùn Continent.
Qi Cultivation is to absorb the spirit qi from the air to refine your internal organs and dantian as you walk the path to enlightenment.
Body Cultivation is to absorb spirit qi and convert it into Vital Essence or 'Prana' to refine the physical body, open the 7 main Chakra points and 107 lesser points as well as unblock the 72,000 nadi energy channels. To use the body as the vessel to Enlightenment.

As Madlenkosi reviewed the information he had, he handed over the Iron Horned Beast to be skinned and cooked.
The Villagers celebrated with gusto as they finally placed down a rock that weighed on their heart.
He was lead to an area where he could wash and clean himself and was then given some Duan da clothes and shoes made of hemp fabric to wear.
After thanking them, He sat watched the children playing thinking of what to do next. A village youngster then came up to him.
"Gold big brother, did you kill the Iron Horned on your own?" He asked enthusiastically.
"Eh? uhh, yeah he was strong but I was stronger it seems" Madlenkosi replied.
"You must be at the 4th Layer of Body Refinement! I heard my grandpa say so!" The boy exclaimed.
"I have never actually cultivated though." He said.
The Village Head overheard and came to ask. "Junior Jin, have you never cultivated before? How were you able to defeat the Iron Horned?"
"I've always been stronger than the norm, It's just natural I guess," He said as he scratched his head hearing the moniker 'Junior Jin'.
"Come with me," said the Village Head as he walked to another part of the village with Madlenkosi in tow. " This is the testing totem. As we villagers have no breathing methods,
we can't accurately judge our strength unless we use this. Give it a try."
He stared up at the totem that had 3 layers, a Bear-like beast at the bottom, a Wolf-like one in the middle, and an Owl at the top.
Inlaid in the totem were 5 gems each representing 1 elephant in strength.
As he took a deep breath, he planted his left foot straight in front of him as he clenched and drew back his right arm. With a quick shout, he threw his fist straight on the totem, shortly after 2 gems started to glow brightly and the 3rd gem had a very slight luminance to it before it vanished.
"Hoh? Slightly over 2 Elephants in strength. Inborn strength?" The Village Head's Eyes lit up at what he saw as he turned to Madlenkosi.
