Lich finished packing up a box of fresh meat and sighed while closing it up. The only other person working at the food dam laughed when he saw him.
"Found some good meat again? I hope if I ever have children they would be as considerate as you."
Lich smiled as he taped up the box. "Yeah I just hope my mom gets some this time. Last time dad ended up eating all of it by himself. He got his ass kicked so hard when mom found him passed out with a box smelling of meat."
Lich paused and sighed. 'This feels so weird. I never even cared about my real parents. But for some reason, the parents I haven't even spent a hour with feel so close to me. I even end up having memories of things I don't remember doing. Maybe the skip of time is only of me, and this body has it's own consciousness.'
The middle aged man patted Lich on his back heavily. "There you go again! Always zoning out, if I didn't know better I would think you were a gloomy little kid. Hahaha."
