Many of the elites exclaimed their opinions with a shocked expression, right throoughout the battle they were watching everything. When they thought Cancer would take them down in no time, the battle furthered until the powerful fluctuation in the air strengthened. Their former calm and distainful expression was washed away by the continued battle, now only bulged eyes and a huge opened mouth could be seen on their faces.
They were really suprised by this, they have never thought a a pirate at the corner of the world one have the strength to face a rear admiral. This is a person who can basically run rampage thorugh the entire 4 seas but what they saw totally submerged their understanding.
Since when was the world like this, such occurrence caused there head to be in a state of dizziness.
"No wonder the navy sent a rear admiral was sent to supress such pirate."

Even though what is taking place is shocking, they are still experienced elites from the grandline and so they must have a level of judgemntal and thinking ability. They finaling realized why they navy headquarters has sent a rear admiral. It was because there is a criminal there where the navy branches simply cannot tend with. Which makes no makes no longer be puzzled why such fleet was sent to these parts because orders are not to be asked but carried out.
Likewise the navy, Laffitte and Guzen who were watching were also filled with suprised expression.
"Its no wonder the captain remained calm, even though we had a rear admiral to face," Guzen chuckled with a suprised expression.
"The time we travelled might be short but the captain always had a calm expression," Laffitte replied with a smiling face.
Yes thats true but that not the main issue right now, Joshua strength really suprised them, they have never thought he his power was at this level. They thought it would be hard struggle and they would have to flee but what is happening now says otherwise.

During all of this over the sea, the wind currents still circulate in the air and the strong breath of power clash still roams in the atmosphere even though the clash stopped.
"Really is armament haki," Joshua looked on the constant shaking hand of his with shrinked eyes.
Yes what Cancer has just wrapped around his hand was armament haki.
They are three types of haki in the world which are namely: Conquerors, armament and Observation haki.
Conquerors haki represents the qualification of a king and only 1 in a million can have such. In the past is was noted that Joshua'a has conquerors haki but it was still in a semi awakening state. As for armament haki this is a certain spirtual coating that is used for offense and defense while observation haki is used to sense and predict the movements of an individual, beast etc.
To be a strong man in this world, armament and observation haki must be learnt and the profiency of them, tells you the level you have grasped. So Cancer who is a rear admiral he must have aleast grasped one of these haki's so far. With that being said, judging from the pale black coating around his hand, he has just touched the entry level of armament haki.
"It might be a slight coating but the power it brought it huge, not something a non haki user can contend with," Joshua continued as a pained and numb ache is repeatedly felt in his hand.
"How is this possible," Cancer exclaimed in deep shock as he looked on Joshua who is stable as a rock. What he struggled fierecly against was that he was pushed o the point where he had to use armament haki to fight against a pirate who is in the corner of the world. Which made him feel angry and ashamed, if what happened here was reported back to headquarters he would definately become a laughing stocking the entire base.
But he was forced, he had to do it because the power Joshua wielded his too strong and he had no other choice than to do this. But even though he used it,Joshua took it head on without loosing a footing, which makes him really shocked.
Just with physical strength he was able to accomplish this, this not a small matter. Also in addition to good physical strength, he has grasped alest 3 navy styles and he aslo have a good developemnt of his fruit, this made Cancer back feel cold.
"No he simply can't stay,"Cancer suppressed the anger and ashamed feeling in his heart and then radiated intense murderous aura from his body. Hoow old is Joshua, judging from jos face which still looked somewhat immature, he doesn't seems to pass 16. This made Cancer's face a a little horrible, less than 16 years but you can contend with a rear admiral strong an instant chill ran down his back.
"If he is not dealt with now the navy would have a terrifying enemy to face in the future," Cancer talked with pure killing intent in his eyes. Joshu must die hear today, he flicked back over the sword in the other hand then coated it with is pale black armament haki. He then slashed towards Joshua's chest with astonishing speed, the instant high pitched sound rang outas he sliced through the air.
Joshua grasped his left fist and punched forward, as it moves through the air, and illusionary dark beast which radiated strong breath was formed.

The fist and sword collided creating an instant shock in the atmosphere, the shockwave which wasn't over became more terrifying, as thick winds rushed out in the surrounding. The clash of two different elements furrther sank the sea as waves of sea water gallop in the air wily as it spreads out.
"Terrifying physical strength," Cancer said in shock as he is constantly being pushed. Even though his hands is covered with a pale black coated he still felt the strong physical power which made his hand tingly with numbness.
But his face became dark when he thought os something.

Joshua stepped forward as he made two black, gloomy slashes in the air, that ran across the sea cutting its surface in half. Cancer sided stepped dodging the dreadful flame slash, he continued as he made several more across the sky shooting them at him.
Cancer who was running speedily across the sky jumped to his left dodging the death slash, then he over to his right doing the same procedure. Joshua made several more death slash along the sky darkening the atmosphere with its distorted being. He shot it at Cancer and the speed it moved off caused a a hoarse, low sound as it tear through air.
He continued his before action by sided stepping in the sky, at horror speed to dodge the repeated slashes which cause them to hit the surface of the sea causing it to splash in the air constantly.
"Distorted fist...."
Two huge ball of contorted flames fired from his hands pressuring the the atmospheric layer with its strong and chaotic breath. The twisted and wriggled faces which were screaming painfully in the black flames flew through the sky with a deformed figure.
Perceiving the threat incoming from behind at a fast speed Cancers gritted his teeth as he stepped in the air lightly and turned his body in a flexible format .
As if time slowed down a little, the flames passed from both top and below his body, "Damn," Cancer exclaimed in pain as he felt the dreadful flames burning his body they might have not touched him the latent heat is too terrifying which caused many burnt spots appeared on his body. He continues to shoot through the air as he as he eyes became bloodshot with killing intent.
Joshua saw Cancer still running and his brow wrinkled, he stopped moving forward to the running Cancer but stood their calmly in the air.
He looked before with a cold expression on his face, then stood back in the same normal position from and held the blade tightly in his hands. The dark, cold aura him subsided which made the winds around stop to blow. His whole world became clear but terrifying as his whole stable body totally submerged in the slightly movement of the air.
This unusual state spread right out to the surrouding area causing the sea to tremble with uneasiness. Joshua black coat levitated slowly as repeated crimson red aura started to release from his body. Massive amounts of shrap breath started to converge as chaotic winds passed by in a disorderly orderly.
The vile and sufficating state passed over Cancer making the hair on his body to stand up as chills run down from his spin.

He looked behind him with shrinking eyes what he saw made his expression change to extreme dread.
"It the same stands as before," he said with a heavy voice while running at the figure who was standing still in the sky. He looked like an impentrable force, even though he just stood there normally, no flaws could be noted . But what looked different was that now the defense of the base is well preserved its time for the offence.

But he couln't finish what he was about to say as what he saw made his expresion condense.
Joshua eyes became only source of black as his body glowed with dangerous red luster. He gripped the hilt of the blade tightly as he held it up in the air. The know harshly blown winds which were sprinting in the air received a sudden shrap cut as Joshua brought down his hand.
" Chaotic killing sword..."
A intense red light shot from Joshua's sword, the immediate strike was too fast that it sliced the whole air it half. His moves were as fast as light, cold as ice. The strong bloodlust and crazed feeling that enriched the sky and pressured the atmosphere with the shrap sword mystery that it entales.

The sea received a direct clamp as the red strike hit it, instantly lifting it up in the air. As it moves forward it transform from a fierce beast, to a mutated lion, then straight into ancient creature which released shrap, horror breath into the surrounding area.
"Sword skill.." Cancer expressed in shock as he saw the attack running towards him.
Yes what Joshua just used is a sword skill, he didn't receive swordsmanship for anything, the enemy this time is not waek and he must show his strength.
Bu he had no time to supresse his shock state to deal with the incoming attack. Feeeling the strong and horror breaththt comes from the skill that brought enormous pressure, Cancer did not dare to take it head on but when he looked forward his expression became ugly.
There he saw the distorted fists which he had dodged , now spread across the sea creating a huge wall of black fire.
"Underestimating me too much brat," Cancer grinded his teeth with deep hatred.
"Great whirpool.."
He waved his sword in the air in a circular pattern and created to 2 huge vortex of winds which was interwined with the sea water in the atmosphere. They both clashed with the incoming flames and the horrible sword slash.
