The grandline
Both crew mates eyes flashed as they repeated this in their heads.
This is the first half of the great route, the starting line for the strong, the place where the wolves are separated from the heathen. This is a place where the strong and weak mix, but do not take it lightly because of this. The grandline was not called a Pirates' graveyard for nothing, this place is dangerous and chaotic and your lives can be lost at any given time.
Without power one could die at any given moment not just my the hands of pirates navies etc. It doesn't matter if you provoke someone or not if you do not have even strength to back up yourself, you will die and be forgetton in the hands of time.
Furthermore, many persons have big dreams and set sail towards this route to fulfill their aspirations but die miserably before even getting to set foot their. You can not only die in the hands but also due to the horrible ever changing weather that occurrs frequently. The weather is also a factor and because of the this, numerous persons die under the rare and unpredicatable climate or phenomena that takes place which makes it extremely difficult to sail their.
"The grandline, I hope its really wonderful and dreadful as they say," Guzen chuckled with a flash of bloodthristiness in his eyes, as he licks his knife lightly. For what Guzen said, even though Laffitte didn't give a comment a faint light sparked in his eyes. as he continued to smile brightly.
As for Joshua, he just hled down his head slightly, Guzen saying that its expected cause bascially all his life he was living in the west sea. If it was not For Joshua Guzen might have continued to live here and be a bounty hunter and die when his fate is at hand. Even though Joshua did not technically go to the grandline he did in a sense 'follow' luffy and his crew to the grandline. He would not naively think that he is like luffy who has the plot armor covering him and his luck will get him through the grandline safetly.
So he must strength and be prepared to face anything that comes his way, cause his whole being is not apart of the one piece world and so what he does he must rely on himself. Also has for Joshua Laffitte would hace journey from the West sea either way even if Joshua didn't recruit him.
"It all comes down to one's strength," Joshua eyes flashed as he thought then added after "and also Laffitte navigational skills." He then glance at Laffitte seemingly like he is telling him something. Laffitte saw Joshua's gaze and lightly smiled, he stopped his rhythmic tapping and said...
"I understand captain, you can be at ease,". Joshua heard what Laffitte said and lightly nodded then regained back his former gaze.For Laffitte navgivational skills he has never doubted it If he did not have confidence in Laffitte's skills he would not have him join his crew. . For someone who had become the captain of the 5th captain of a Yonko crew and was personally invited by Blackbeard himself how can his skills and abilties be lacking. "Now what we need to get done, is for our ship to be built," Joshua said calmly as he through these thoughts at the back of his head. What needed to be done leave that for the future now its time to take care of the presents things.
"Heheheheee... thats true, but I dont think the navy will just let us build our boat peaceful," Guzen sneered when he said this.
"Your not worried about that, are you," Joshua asked calmy. Guzen just laughed at what Joshua said, did not give back a direct answer. For Guzen's behaviour Joshua juat ignored.
What Guzen stated was indeed right but its within Joshua's expectations and he was not worried at all. The lose of a few captains is nothing to the navy but the their face was hit and their prestige that they had in the west sea is not at its peak since the continuous defeats they had in Joshua's hand. The navy is like a ever pestering group of mosquitos and would not go away until they get what they want.So their retaliation against Joshua will repeatedly come until he is dead or capture. After all the 'justice' they uphold can't be tainted by the likes of a pirate.
"But so what, anyone who stands in my will die, he said at heart as a killing intent flashed in his eyes. The navy undying pursuit is expected but as long as the strength Joshua has the strength of self preservation, there is nothing to worry about.
"It seems we are going to Ship yard island, now Laffitte" Joshua said when he saw Guzen unresponsive self. Even though Joshua doesn't really now the places in the west se like he was able to know a few island from the map they currently have and ship yard island is one them. Joshua doesn't really know thie places in the West blue which is expected. You should know that from the original series ,Luffy is from the East blue and even though there are events and places mention from the West sea and the other seas not every area was known .
Ship yard island Joshua might not really know this island but its common sense to realize what it deals. It composes of For the island many merchants, pirates etc would go here to have there boats builds for different reasons and this is all done by the shipwright.
"It seems I must get a shipwright to maintain the ship.. but not know in the future ," Joshua thought as he slowly stood up.
Laffitte lightly nodded and indifferently got up , unanchored ship, took out his map on looked on it then set sailed towards their destination, Ship yard island.
