The dense gloomy fog slowly dispersed as it revealed two figures standing opposite each other and what both navies and pirates saw made them gasp in with cold air .
"Ba...bastard ha...haa.." Carl panted, as he looked at Joshua with a pale expresssion, blood dripped from the head down to his face and at his whole mouth was also bloody. Carl's whole body posture was awkward, this right hand which held the sword had deep cut wounds and the bones in his hand was noticeable bacause of the horrible black flame. A terrifying whole was in his chest which leaked flesh and blood and on both feet there were big and small wounds. For him to be still alive after that, is already shocking. In contrast to Joshua who is just moderately panting and on his body only had some minor wounds.
"Oh my god Carl is defeated..."
"Impossible..."
"I must be dreaming..."
"Look on Chaos, it seems like he didn't take any damage,"
The pirates did not dare to believe what is before them but they had to, they have never in there wildest dream thought that Carl would be defeated by Chaos, a navy who can take on 50 up million pirates. Furthermore its more than just a defeat, simply crushed, his whole self looked miserable, seemingly like he can die any minute now. But what really terrified them is that Joshua is basically completely find other than some minor cuts, it is nothing compared to Carl.

The navy looked on at the scene with faces of disbelief, they were really hit hard and because of this they bacame sluggish. What happened caused there 3 way views to submerge, there justice was ruthlessly stepped on by a pirate. The completely unharmed state of Joshua already made them look on him with shocked and feared expressions.
The 2 commanders had cold sweat running down their backs as well , the horror on their face could not be supressed at all. If Carl a Navy Captain dies here in the hands of Chaos it would bring great trouble and the prestige of the navy would be hit hard and more unscruplous pirate would become more active. They must stop this from happening and as if they understood each other thoughts they nodded and ran toward Joshua to intercept him.
But at that moment....
"Hehe..hehe, I can't let you disturb the captain's fight," Laffitte sneered as he directly appeared before them. Even though he watched the fight most of the time, he would glance at the commanders from time to time.
"Damn!" Both commanders looked on Laffitte with hatred, they gritted their teeth intense, directly showing how angry they were. They wanted to save Carl but they were intercepted by Laffitte, who they almost forgot about. This made the anxiousness in their heart rose to its peak. They immediately pouted on him wanting him to solve him quickly and then rush to Carl deal with the immediate enemy and so Laffitte's fight kicked off.
"This is where your Justice ends," Joshua sneered as he looked on Carl with a mocking expression. Joshua never took Carl too seriously even though he is not that weak, he simple wasn't on his level.
"Don't think I can die so easily pirate," Carl struggled as he puntured the sword in the earth as he tries to straighten up himself. The attack from Joshua caused a slight flash of fear run through is eyes. It was really terrifying, the chaotic thoughts continued to mess with his mind which almost caused him to go crazy for a minute . If it not for remembering the Justice he has been fighting for, maybe he would have already succumbed to the negative thoughts.
Joshua didn't reply to Carl but directly took action.
"Distorted fist..."
This is another ability developed from the black flame fruit. A powerful and dark flame was released from Joshua fist which rushed to Carl crazily, the distorted fist was filled with crazy wailing ghost that brings nothing but madness and destruction. The land it passed became black and the air around it came really gloomy.There distorted face continued to intertwine as it made horrible and dreadful expressions it would almost look like Grayroad from Seven Deadly Sins but far more worse and horrifying.
Carl felt the fatal danger coming towards and senses continued to tingle as it screams out death....death..

He readied he weapon with a painful expression which then was filled with ruthlessness.
"sword slam..."
Carl shouted with bloodshot eyes as he stamped his foot in the earth and swung his sword which seems to have grown couple inches from over his head forward.

Both attacks crashed into each other causing the wind to blew violently into the surrounding area.
"Ahhhhhhh...." Carl shouted angrily seeming like he wants the power in sword to get stronger by yelling. The powerful fist continues to push him back fiercely but thats just wishing thinking, he is not a character in dragon ball . He immediately flew out and he spat blood continuously as he crashed in a nearby building.
"Captain...".
"Captain Carl..."
The navy called out in horror as they watched Carl crash into a building . The 2 commanders are already anxious and helpess no matter who they try to throw off Laffitte to go help the Captain they are immediately blocked. Futhermore, as the fight went on, they became injured and now their stamina is running low.
"Its seems like I should rap up my battle as well," Laffitte eyes flashed as he thought calmly then withdrew his gaze from where Joshua wass then looked on the panting commanders.
"Cough.... cough..."Carl voice came from the ruble of collasped concrete his state was even more unregonizeable . His right hand as been abolished , no bones remained. As a swordsman that this is worst than death and for him who was already injured, his battle efficiency is at a really low point.
"Captain."
The navies despaired when they saw Carl's situation.
"Damn it, shoot him.."
"Kill the damn bastard..."
"Dont let him hurt Captain Carl again..."
Its either because of the negative energy or the the response of a normal human when in they are about to die the navies took of there guns as they shoot at Joshua countinuously. The ones who are already going crazy shoot all about, completely not remembering that they are a their companions, which caused heavy lossed on their ranks.
"Ahhhh die for me.."
"Yes I did, I kill our son.."
"No get out of my head..."
Not just the navy put also the surrounding pirates criminals have already gone mad and killing each other due to the negative energy. If it not them dying by someone's hand they have commit suicide, places were destroyed, people were dying and bodies were dropping.
"He really deserved the name.."
All what was happening was simply...

When Joshua saw the navy firing t him he frowned then swept his gaze over them
"Stop bastard!"
Carl who saw this wanted to stop Joshua from killing the navy roared at him as he ran with difficulty towards Joshua but he is too late.

Then terrifying black flames swept them and repeated screams rang out causing the nearby birds flee.
"Really horrible," Laffitte said as he fanned himself as he looked on the black flames, for the commaders they have alreadly died under his hand and now he just wait for Joshua to finish his business.
Carl who wanted to curse Joshua couldn't, has flame like spikes directly pierced his body which appeared from the ground.
"Pluuuahhhh...," Carl repeatedly spat blood as he struggled to look at the spikes that pierecd his body.
"This,".. that was the last thing he said before he died and only a face of horror remained.

The surviving pirates looked where the dead Carl is with shocked face and then looked on Joshua with a horrifrid expression. The amount of times Joshua shocked them tday is really too much, I'm afraid there might be someone who has already died from shock. But with the death of Carl and the annihialation of the navy the West sea is about to shake again.
"With this done, its time to go," Joshua said lightly as he glanced at the dead Carl. He turned around and walked in the direction of Laffitte.
