Skandia, the Viking nation. Also Known to other countries by the name Barbarian country, it is one of the strongest nations in military power today.
Much of this is due to the invasions suffered by Luminia, the country known for unifying an entire continent into just one religion, Catholicism.
In the past, much of the Viking territory was actually under Luminyan rule. However, the uprisings of the people of Skandia in search of independence were able to expel the Catholic empire from their territories. In exchange, of course, for many Skandian lives.
The Catholic army, the Templars, continued for years to try to retake these territories, always failing due to the bravery of the Viking people. Bravery that was mainly due to their culture that trained brutal warriors.
However, from one hour to another, Luminia interrupted her invasions in the Nordic country, for no apparent reason. This greatly puzzled the Skandians, but did not stop them from celebrating the apparent victory of their people.
Now, one year later, the barbarian country enjoys prosperity and peace. Many, however, condemn the methods used by them to achieve this prosperous state.
This is because the Barbarians have grown rich, mainly by plundering neighboring countries, and enslaving defenseless peasants from these same countries. Besides the great genocides of villages on the neighboring borders.
Ethics is not really a word present in the Viking dictionary.
...
That afternoon, in the royal castle of Skandia, the greatest authority of the Viking country is present. King Ronald Vlasmüd, a descendant of Mjölnir Vlasmüd, the representative of the Viking revolt against Luminia.
In one of the palace halls, a royal messenger walks hurriedly. Something seems to be troubling him.
- It's bad, it's bad. This is terrible. Why was this task left to me? - muttered the indignant messenger.
He then stops in front of the royal hall and pushes the giant gates with all his might, causing a bang.
Inside the room, the king is in a "meeting" with his concubines, sitting on his throne in a relaxed manner with a young girl on his lap who seems to be holding back her tears.
Other women with sad looks are behind the throne, probably waiting their turn to "serve the king".
- I greet the King of Skandia, Your Majesty Ronald Vlasmüd! - said the messenger, bowing.
- I thought I gave a clear order. No, interrupt. My order. Meeting! - spoke the king with a threatening air, while he groped behind the throne in search of his huge axe.
- I'm sorry to interrupt you, sir, but it was necessary. It's about Luminia! - he proclaimed, still bent over.
Ronald then narrowed his eyes a little, as he stared at the messenger.
- Go ahead. *He ordered, slapping the girl on his lap on the buttocks.
- Kyah! - shouted the girl getting up.
The girls ran out of the room as soon as the king gestured for them to do so. The man soon returned to his normal posture.
- Coughed the man in bewilderment. - My lord, it seems that Luminia has gone to war with the land of sands...
- HOW IS IT? *BAK* - Shouted the king, punching his chair.
The messenger shuddered and swallowed hard before continuing.
- Luminia is trying to invade the land of the sands, my king. Apparently since last year.
- So that's why...
The king then realized, at that very instant, the reason for the interruption of the southern invasions.
- Are you sure about this? - said the king, turning again to the messenger. - If this is a false alarm, you can be sure I will have your head on a spit.
- Ugh. Yes, my king, absolutely sure. - he replied, taking a step back.
The king then covered with his hand the scar that covered the entire right side of his face.
- Fuha... Fuhahaha... FUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. - He laughed hysterically as he stood up from the throne.
The messenger swallowed dryly taking another step back.
It is common knowledge that Ronald Vlasmüd is a tyrant, he spares no effort to kill his servants, just by taking one step out of place. Many still secretly call him The Tyrant Axe.
- PERFECT. THAT'S PERFECT! - he shouted, smiling at the messenger.
The messenger then smiled back in bewilderment and fear.
- THANK YOU ODIN, THAT'S ALL I WANTED AHAHAHA. - He shouted pointing to the window behind the throne. - I WILL REWARD YOU FOR THIS WITH THE HEAD OF THE BASTARD WHO DARED TO DISRESPECT ME, AND HIS DAMNED PEOPLE.
- You may go. For leaving me in a good mood, you will receive a woman of my court, of your choice, to take as your servant. Now go.
- Uhh. Thank you sir, I must go then. - The messenger bowed again, and then left more hurriedly than when he arrived.
- Kukukukuku. Wait for me Friedrich, soon it will be time for you to pay for what you did to me. - said the king, laughing devilishly from his throne.
