While Jeannie and Christopher stared at Del in shock, the man smiled at the two before turning to Jeannie, " I am going to take you up on that offer for breakfast tomorrow. Until then, I'll leave you two to enjoy. Go ahead."
Christopher soon escorted Jeannie to the dance floor where the couple began with the official dance, inviting all other couples to dance in the latter half.
While Christopher held Jeannie carefully, he could not help but be distracted by what Delaney had said and what he had left unsaid. Seeing that he was distracted yet, Jeannie smiled and leaned closer to Christopher as she whispered," I cannot help but wonder if my husband is a masochist of some sort."
