Christopher stared at the file in front of him and wanted to burn it. This was the biggest threat in front of him now. Of course he had been able to coerce Jeannie into the agreement so he had no qualms about forcing her to stay if the time ever came when she decided to leave. After all, she belonged to him.
But would he be able to become as ruthless as he had been in the past. For the first time in a long time, Christopher doubted himself. In the past, he had been able to become heartless because he had only thought of having a mutually beneficiary agreement. He had not needed to take into account his feeling or hers. But now, it was all complicated and if she hated staying by his side, then it would only hurt everyone.
