Chapter 53 - The Queen's Gift

Over the course of the last few hours, the Queen observed the woman who was her grandson's wife. In fact, even though she trusted Zane's judgement, when the woman had disappeared soon after the wedding, she'd had doubts about her sense of responsibility and suitability. They could not have someone on the throne who took impulsive decisions without thinking of the consequences. Of course when she had voiced said doubts, both Zane and Christopher had protected the woman.
