Delaney marched into his office while a shaking Luna walked behind him slowly, worried about the whispers of the other secretaries. They had been treating her like an outcast from the first day and now that he was angry at her for going away from her station for a few minutes, they would definitely be laughing. Then she shook her head.. No they had been treating her cordially for the last few days at least but still, she knew they must resent her.
Unexpectedly, the topic of discussion was much different. As Luna followed him, the other secretaries clicked their tongue over her poor luck at having angered the boss. Even though they were not friends with her, they had seen her work hard and not throw airs as she worked, thus earning their respect.
