"Where are we?" Ivan asks as he gets out of the car, with a confused look on his face.
I know he must be confused about the reason I brought him to the top of a hill. There was no one here. It was just the two of us.
"This is the place where my dad proposed to my mom. They used to live here but they switched cities because my dad found a better job. They used to come here all the time, it's a very special spot. When we moved back here, my father showed me this spot and told me about how they would sneak out of their house in the middle of the night without their parents knowing. I come here when I'm stressed or sad, it makes me feel better. Now I want you to know about this place as well." I explain looking ahead at the view we have of the entire city.
He doesn't say a word, he just comes forward and grabs my waist with both his hands pulling me closer to him, crashing his lips to mine.
Oh god.
We pull out from the kiss, foreheads still pressed looking at each other and smiling like idiots.
"Thank you." He suddenly says.
"For what?" I ask him but I was still smiling just confused at his sudden statement.
"For being as open with me as I am with you." He closes his eyes after saying so. His statement caught me off guard.
"We're a couple, it's an equal relationship. I can't expect you to be honest with me if I'm not."
I bring my hand to his face, cupping his cheeks, giving him a quick kiss before unwrapping his arms from my body and holding his hand guiding him to the edge.
"Follow me," I tell him as we walk ahead. "Now shout." I continue when we were both standing next to each other.
"Why would I do that?" He furrows his brows looking in my direction.
"Just let go of everything you have hidden inside you. Nobody can hear us, we're in our little universe, so it's time to release your feelings." I explain.
He nods " On three, we scream together." He murmurs "One....two....three." Just as the last word leaves his mouth, we were both shoutings.
And all I felt was....relief
"I WANT TO RUN AWAY FROM HERE," I shout at the top of my lungs.
"ME TOO. I'M FUCKING TIRED." He adds with the same tone.
Suddenly, it started raining. I wanted to go back to the car before getting wetter but he held my hand.
"What?" I say a bit louder for him to hear due to the sound of the pouring rain.
"Stay. Nothing feels better than rain." He explains with a toothy smile on his face.
I nod and come closer to him. He then carries me bridal style and starts spinning me. I was laughing out loud, taken off guard by his actions, but still loving them. After a few moments, he stops still holding me. His eyes were sparkling, they were filled with joy and I'm sure mine was as well.
"Dance with me." He mumbles as his emerald eyes stare deeply into mine.
"What? Why?" I ask.
"Why not?" He raises his left brow.
"There's no music." He puts me down and goes to the car, he opens the door and leans forward to turn on the radio. And as if this day couldn't get any better, "Can't help falling in love" started playing, bringing back memories from when we snuck out of school during detention. This was the song we listened to on our way to the beach.
He raises the volume to the max, closes the door, and comes back to me.
"It's our song angel." He says.
"It sure is."
He was in front of me, he put his hands on my waist, and I placed mine above his shoulders. He pulls me closer, our bodies closer than ever, and just like that, we started swaying to the rhythm, moving our legs and bodies together.
Here I am, at my favorite spot, dancing with Ivan Knight in the rain. Who would've thought?
As the music kept playing, I brought my head to where my hands were, hugging him, and still dancing. This was an extremely special situation for both of us.
I would happily die here, right now.
And the reason was that I knew, it was the moment I was a hundred percent sure I knew I was in love.
How crazy is that? From being the random eyes I saw in my dreams to my first love. He was the person who made me feel things I didn't know existed, the person who gives me butterflies just by talking to me, the person I can be vulnerable and honest with. I never planned for this to happen. It was a game played by the universe.
A good one.
I know I might be rushing into things, maybe it's too early to fall in love with him. We've known each other for barely over a month, but I never planned this.
The music stops, we both bring our faces up, pulling away. It was still raining but we both didn't care at this point.
"How do you feel?" He asks.
"Untouchable," I answered looking up at the sky, closing my eyes, and bringing my arms up to my side. This feels so good.
"We're untouchable, angel," I add.
He holds my back and brings me up, I straddle his hips and bring my lips to his...again
God, I love this man so much.
We move our tongues together, expressing the millions of emotions we're feeling in this moment.
I didn't know what was happening, until I felt his trip and falling on his back, as he screams in shock. Thank god there was sand on the floor, if it was all rocks, it would've ended with an injury, ruining the night. Though now, his clothes are going to be muddy. I was still on top of him, and I just started laughing at how fast this escalated.
"Ouch." He mumbles. "Do you think it's funny?" He continues.
And he started laughing as well.
I change my position and lay next to him instead. He held my hand and we both close our eyes not saying one word.
For about five minutes, it's all just pure silence, nothing but the calming sound of the rain.
"Why do I always end up wet when I'm with you?" I say breaking the silence.
"It's meant to happen, I can't help it."
We chuckle, then silence...again
"I want to make you feel good angel."
